Since there are 9000 over shares for the post, does it mean LHL can get over a billion dollars if he goes after all he sharers? If not, is there a law that prevents that from happening and why is one sharer assigned a big portion of the damages? It is not about re-posting an article or who was the one who wrote the article. If Leong broke the law the police would have deal with him, put him on trial and fine/jail. He got sued by pm personally. Not the govt sue him or his political party sued him. Of all the damaging articles Leong chose one that is personal. If I'm pm I will think, "ok, you wanna punch below the belt and want to appear to look innocent by re-posting the damaging article. I am all game. Bring you to court.". Like I said it's not about plagiarism or re-posting w/o permission. It is personal. Leong tries to look innocent but imo he is not a saint. This is beyond ridiculous and a waste of valuable court resources and tax payers money. If that petty one is so sore about it in his "personal capacity", he should sue that real author in the source country in his personal capacity and not shoot the messenger. Unless he has no faith in another country's libel law? Why is Singapore libel law is so different? Isn't libel about someone saying false harmful staff that hurt someone's reputation?
