All the cars were already waiting at the lights. Then this cyclist just straddled in between lanes and positioned himself right in front of the cars (not captured in video)

Cyclists should not ride on the right side of vehicles unless overtaking or intending to turn right. Else they should keep as left as possible.

Lights turned green, he slowly paddled and created an awkward situation for the taxi who had to eat into the Subaru's lane. Me and the left car had to slow down and guess where the cyclist is going to avoid knocking into him, resulting in slowdown of traffic as you can see from my rear view can.

I guest cyclist wanted to go straight . (the rd has a left only lane on the lane further down) ...

But he shld not be riding on this rd from the start ... its the Famous LOr Nie Lud ........... Some like to ride at night during wkdays ... ard 8+ . Its a pain for all the drivers . Just because of 1 cyclist wanted his fun , the rest of the 100 drivers behind suffered.

If I were the rider, at the lights I'd still be at the leftmost lane.

Let the cars clear first while I pick up my riding momentum.

After crossing the junction, glance back and see if there's space for me to filter right to the lane that's going straight. If there is space, my momentum is already there and I can speed up to the correct lane.

If no space, I can just stretch out my right hand to indicate my intention and wait for someone to let me pass. Usually when drivers see hand signals they will slow down. my speed should be 30kmh which I can pass quickly without hold up traffic much, unlike what the cyclist did when he's building momentum and slowing everyone else down.

Look at the crown cabs and you know it's not exactly the latest.

it is ok. since AMDK wanted to be famous and he has not been exposed, we must republish it more to remind the police they have not completed  their job.

in this case I dont want to fault him. those who cycle would know going straight at a left turn junction can be quite tricky and one has to be very careful. Any crown driver making a mistake and a cyclist will have to pay for it.  And this is again another reasons i boh ji, therefore go mountain biking off the road instead.

If i were the rider, i will go to the pedestrian foot path and using the zebra crossing. [sweatdrop]  [sweatdrop]  [sweatdrop]
