My Dad had been struggling for nearly 1 year of Stage 4 cancer

 

I try my best to be with him for the last journey

 

What pissed me off is because all visitors came assumed SC is so nice to provide FREE advertised bottled water to all of them

 

And all of them praised SC for the goodwill

 

Until I go settle payment then know that is chargeable 

 

PS. You are a moderator...I think you should be more polite right

My aunt one was handled by Fairprice. My mum's, we used Direct. Direct was a lot better than Fairprice. They were held only 1 month apart so able to tell the difference.

 

I selected SC from the booklet provided by the hospice 

 

I thought that they are the oldest one here should be very good

 

Overall almost everything is settled nicely 

 

Price wise on the high side

Cos when my Dad was terminally ill almost drained out all energy liao [bigcry]

 

So just choose the SC but was told that their charges is the most expensive one in SG [lipsrsealed]

 

Our nation founding father also using them [rolleyes]

Sc indeed most expensive in sg and very expensive. The rental for their parlour per night very scary! Lol.

The service team who takes care of these normally do a very very good job in ensuring breakdowns are not heard off. The technicians use the best components or do pre maintenance to ensure that. York used to be the company. I am not sure who is it now as they are doing some renovations.  

 

The smell of the Formul is something not every one can stand.

the maintenance of those freezers is not mentioned :D

 

if a freezer breaks down in the middle of the night, or a power trip, does the hospital immediately activate the management agency or supplier to come in to fix it?

 

supplier probably will be stressed and scared, trying to get the freezer back to operation at 3am...

Is there anything to be rude about when talking about death? You are the old bird moderator. Even if people replied things that do not please you, there is no need to be rude.no one insulted or scolded you and you do not have to treat them this way. None of the moderators are rude like you. Just Speaking my heart out

 

And lets not divert the topic by saying I myself am no Angel, I this I that.

I believe they have a substation as well that caters for this. Redundancies plentiful
