ER-3682 Twincharged December 11, 2018 Share December 11, 2018 I tried searching on the LTA as well as ONEmotoring website to see if it's falls under the "not approved" list. But can't find it. Could you point me in the right direction? According to the Sales, the MRCC interfere with the ERP,hence not allowed...
DK3410 4th Gear December 11, 2018 Share December 11, 2018 (edited) According to the Sales, the MRCC interfere with the ERP,hence not allowed... Dammit! How did LTA find out? Otherwise us Mazda owners would be going past ERP gantries for free when our MRCC is on! Having said that, I find it very strange that the adaptive cruise from: BMW Audi Mercedes Benz are somehow allowed to be brought into SG. Because as far as I've read, with the exception of Subaru's Eyesight which uses the dual-cameras to judge following distance, the others use a radar-based system as well. Perhaps LTA is just allowing the ones who pay them enough to bring in these systems... (just speculation on my part, not a purported fact) Edited December 11, 2018 by DK3410

Diablodestroyer Clutched December 14, 2018 Share December 14, 2018 This was the exact reason why i didnt get the Civic 1.5 Turbo.. i was so dissappointed when i kept seeing youtube videos of the honda sensing and there was the adaptive cruise and the lane keep assist which would practically make the drive save and stress free i.e. adaptive cruise controls front and braking, lane keep assist keeps car in lane... (some videos show it almost like auto pilot) When i went to test drive civic turbo 1.5.... the only thing they had was "lane watch"... which was just a camera that broadcast the left side onto the middle display so u didnt have to look all the way to the left side mirror.. A far cry from what you can get on the civic turbo overseas... too disappointed ↡ Advertisement
