Now Zuji also gone... I think I used them once or twice previously.

Sometimes it is cheaper to book with Expedia or Zuji then booking direct with the airlines.

My friend compared her Tokyo air fare and found Zuji is the cheapest and booked with them.

If include accommodation or package booking , I think online booking is cheaper.

The draw back is you have limited choice.

If you book early , direct booking can be affordable .

SINGAPORE - Online travel agent Zuji has been suspended from issuing airline tickets through the International Air Transport Association's (Iata) centralised airline ticket billing service after it failed to pay up for tickets it sold to customers.

Zuji has also cut staff in its Singapore office as it moves to focus on operations in Hong Kong, The Straits Times understands.

For airticket, once it is issued, usually Airlines will honour it .

Airlines will only go after the company that issue the airticket.

That's what I know.

Unless customer didn't pay the airticket fee, agency will cancel the booking and sent the ticket for refund.

SINGAPORE - Online travel booking site Zuji appears to have ceased business, after failing to renew its travel agent licences in both Singapore and Hong Kong.

The Singapore Tourism Board said in response to queries that Zuji Travel's licence lapsed on Dec 31 last year and it can no longer provide travel products and services here.

The South China Morning Post reported last week that the Hong Kong-based operator had let its travel agent licence expire and owed customers there thousands of dollars in refunds.

Always used Zuji previously to check air fares and then book directly with Airline , but did use them about 5 -6 years back to book a flight to LAX on Delta which was cheaper by them than the Agent surprisingly
