A few points raised

- welcome PI cars to go Borneo service/repair. This is like asking the sheep to come to wolf's lair for tea and cakes. PI car go outside workshop cheap and fast.

- industry leading self-underwritten extended warranty till 7 years - have to pay a few k for that privilege and every servicing (twice a year) need to go back borneo to get carrot chopped + waste time

Not really sure whether all these points are PR script or does he really believe in it.

BTW I am survivor from 5 years of servicing during warranty period in borneo. The difference in servicing cost versus outside was 4x... yes you saw it correctly 400% higher

If paid, curious why u still go back AD for servicing when you aware the cost is 400% higher?

1st 3 free service which is around first year. after that paid out of pocket cos held hostage due to warranty (kiasi).

In the end warranty period only did couple of damper replacements and a small steering part.

5 years finish immediate go outside WS and eyes roll in disbelief when I saw the first bill... so cheap I couldn't believe

The built quality is like any other American car... sooooooo so.

One of my younger colleague is a fan of it although he did not own one.

Till recently he saw a BYD Seal in a road show, then he comments the Seal look much better and interiors built quality is a lot better. Even it is from China.

No. My only “warranty claim” was Aircon flap which has nothing to do with servicing.

Beside the standard n major servicing you paid for, is there any other cost involve that are not included such as AD say u need change this but is belong to wear n tear, so not part of the servicing package?

Only battery - 1st replaced foc. 2nd time replaced 50% co-payment, but their battery cost is inflated so 50% co-payment is about 90% of changing battery outside cost.
