Then you need to add me to your watchlist too.

Perhaps you should try to understand the reasons for our behaviour. The subject in question is invariably spouting falsehoods, half-truths, exaggerations and hyperbole, and in a way to mislead and misinform readers. He also doesn't stand corrected despite being advised.

I don't know if we do more harm to this forum or a guy like @Cheefarn

its a forum. everybody is entitle to their own view. .

u can point your view and correct if u feel its a mistake, but opposite side accept or not is up to them.

if they accept your view, good, if not just leave it, dun need to get personal.

Yes I totally agree that all of us are different and we are entitled to our own opinions and views. Absolutely fine with me.

But facts are no subject to opinions.

I also have noted that u too hv been picking on this member. I’ve tried to let it go but u guys hv been constantly at it n this needs to stop.

If this member has posted falsehoods then point it out but there’s no reason to keep harping  over n over.

Nobody says u guys are a harm to the forum. In fact, u r encouraged to correct untruths but not to the point of harassment. Anyway, just stick to the topic. Rest assured we r also monitoring this member.

Ok, that's a fair statement.

If we are comparing apples to apples.

The Borneo 1.8L Corolla Altis hybrid is 15k SGD more expensive than the PI 1.8L Corolla hybrid.

The PI 1.8L Corolla hybrid is almost the same price as the Borneo 1.6L Corolla Altis Elegance non-hybrid.

Which makes the PI option a far better value if you don't mind buying from a PI.

I rather buy a PI Camry hybrid made in japan than made in Thailand Corolla hybrid. Both are the same price if I’m not wrong

Many toyota hybrids running around. I’m sure there is more than 1 shop out there to fix.
anyway factory warranty is only 3years. The extended warranties are rubbish insurance based warranties which at a stoke of a pen can be voided at their whim and fancy. I rather not subject myself to that.
will use whatever savings from buying PI to effect a repair. If in the end the cost of repairs are greater then it is just my luck.
warranties are so subjective these days anyway.

inflated servicing for a simple oil change and grossly marked up prices for parts During the warranty period is also savings if one chooses not to take PI warranty.
If I buy PI I will take my chances, with no warranty and the car as is. That will save me another 1.5-2k as PI has to pay for the same insurance based warranty to cover the 1st 3years.

How come PI's Corolla front logo is not a "C" but the usual Toyota emblem?? Tot all JDM Corolla front comes with the "C"?? Or they import from UK?

Toyota emblem means from Toyota Australia.

C emblem means from Toyota Japan.

There is no manufacturing facilities for Toyota in Australia, this was already discussed in another thread. Even the Aussie reviewers said their Corolla is from Japan. I'm surprised grey market car dealers managed to source the export models. But I want the "C" logo for the full-fledge JDM Corolla. 😎

PI sounds good and all but there are downsides to getting from PI. Honda shuttle is probably the most common PI car on the roads now. Yet I have a friend who has a crack in his windshield which is technically covered by insurance. However, no workshop is able to get the windshield for the car and those that are able to order, got rejected by the insurer as not from official source so can't cover. Now LL suck thumb drive around with a patched up cracked glass.
