I ever posted screenshots of negative reviews on the 2010+- Altis from sgcarmart.

As usual the TLs claim those fake accs or not truth. I just wonder why they r so defensive

Saw one on PIE the other day, but could not take a photo of it. Look wise, mai hiam buay pai lah! More handsome than tarzen, but I still prefer the look of Civic!

WTF is BM doing? Look quite nice on the outside and come with Toyota Safety sense  and when you look at the damn infotainment system, what with all the thick bezel and small system?

facepalm. Compare to 12th gen JDM Corolla that come with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay....oh my gosh, even the KIA K3 GT Line one is nicer!

To a typical Toyota buyer,  they will not care or know whats Carplay or Android Auto la. 

Just look for Toyota badge will do. Best reliability and excellent resale value

Anyway the cabin is indeed smaller than the G11 Altis. Rear legroom is really little if you have a tall driver >1.8m at the front. 

Boot opening is comically small and the boot lid felt flimsy and light when in operation. Bootlid cannot even auto pop open when released. No you don't need structs to do that, a proper spring loaded lever can do the same job as well. 

Or would u prefer the Malaysia market HU? LOL

Did anyone notice our G12 Altis, both 1.6 and the top spec hybrid, DOES NOT have any foglamps?! The foggies enclosure has been flashed over and the turn indicator Is missing the foglamp rotary switch. 

Its Nov 2000 all over again. When the Hipporolla was launched, it came without foglamps no matter which model you select. 

All these certainly help save abit on the OMV.... except, at over 120k, we are still expected to accept such nonsense from BM. The leathers are locally fitted again even for the hybrid. It felt like overstuff chairs. Factory ones will not be so shoddy made.

To be frank. The exterior of this Altis looks much better already, and the handling base on the reviews should have lots of improvement.

But the touch screen n the interior still cmi

Notice some others make/model also dont have foglights. Thinking it is important for this in sg? Lol. G12 altis leather seats are locally fitted? How about previous G11 altis? Also locally fitted?

I took a seat behind the display car at the motorshow, it seems very compact compared to current previous gen altis. The side of the head may hit the roof anytime, leg room is tight and width seems much more compact and of course the HU is a turn-off. Anyone got the same feel.

Have heard this thrown around for years. The previous gen Mazda 3 is made in Japan but there has been issues with suspension noises and faulty autofold side mirrors. Now even the the latest gen Mazda 3 has a recall due to the faulty Smart Braking System.

Personally, would take a Mazda 3 over a Altis any day. But it's not due to MIT vs MIJ.

I was at the motorshow just now but it’s so crowded. Didn’t want to even wait for a chance to sit inside.

exterior is nice la. Interior abit of a letdown with the infotainment screen having such thick borders.

Thought all the years altis is always quite comfortable and roomy. Looks like the new altis is going backward?

Don't feel roomy with this, much more compact, I think partly because the front seats  also of considerable size.
