That's pretty expensive leh...

That's a 8+256 13inch.

8+256 at 11inch will probably be 800plus for a supply install liao.

Nice.

I saw the installer do mine last time.

Changed the panel to bigger one, install all the wiring. Nah... I know l will screw up 😂, just pay.

Urs is altis or rav4?

Does it block Aircon?

As it's mounted relatively high up on the console, does it impact your road view? Can show driver's eye view?

I'm driving the current Toyota Corolla Altis.

The screen that comes with the car is 10 inches (diagonal). But the base is significantly wider than the top. The base is 12 inches wide from left to right.

The screen sits atop the central aircon blowers. So as long as the mounting point of the new screen is the same as the original housing, then it shouldn't block the aircon vents at all.

As for the driver's field of view. If your new screen is 13 inches diagonal, it should be about 1 inch higher than the current screen... so not much issue... can resolve by raising your driver's seat if you're not tall enough...

See the photo of my car's screen...

I think the left and right shiny black bezel of the aircon surround will likely block the larger screen so you've probably got to mount the screen a bit outer from the console wall. As long as the mounting point depth is adjustable I think can just swap out for a 13 inch tablet... but if you see the left wiper stall position, got to ensure you have enough clearance lar... alternatively is to mount the screen slightly off centre to make space for the stalk if you have to mount it much further forward so that is protrudes from the console...

The interior of this car is actually quite small and cramped lar... ha ha...

Mohawk top tier = good? Best in class?

Mohawk is aftermarket car audio brand/company.

Nowaday, it also sells Android player.

At SGD700+, you can get top tier Mohawk Android Player which has all the audio control.

I tried searching but didn't see anything... mostly is woofers and speakers and amps... ha ha ha...

But not interested in changing unless the original screen keep disconnecting... today no issue as I go to work... see return journey ok or not...

One annoying thing about the in-car entertainment screen is that my Android Auto always drops connection... about once in a few days... I have to turn off the screen's Bluetooth radio then on again and it will connect with my phone... once in a while the music will pause 1-2 seconds then resume... possibly Bluetooth connection issues? Not too stable? Not sure my phone or the car... using a Samsung A73 5G bought in Nov 2022...

No such issue for mine. U can feedback to BM when u go servicing.
