Borneo motor feed my ride weight 30 too 

I just changed my Oil back to 0w16...it have difference..better stick to Factory Specs.

I think it was mentioned that this engine uses an electric oil pump that may not run all the time.

Unlike mechanical one.

Someone posted a video on that in this thread.

Lastly, TNGA => Chassis.  Dynamic Force => engine.

Electric water pump... To regulate temp very well.

Oil pump is probably still belt driven

Going through car care nut video.  It is an electric pump.

Accordingly, he mentioned that the viscosity of EO is very important.

Thicker make the Engine Cut i lazier..thinner Oil..Cut in less Vibration.

Problem is I have service credit with Borneo motor, so servicing  sure go back to them😂 then they will use weight 30 only. Cannot possible after that 5k mileage later I go outside change EO to 20 weight since 16 weight maybe challenging to find hahah

@D3badge If i not wrong,Borneo have 5w20 Motul Oil,can check with them,5w20 is still better than 5w30.

What happens after 5 years? Thought canry hybrid can last 10 years no problem?

I think the 0W is more critical on hybrid engines due to frequent restarting.

Unlike conventional engines, it only start once and thereafter the oil continues to circulate.

I would choose 0W30 (if available) rather than 5W20.

5w30 & 0w30 are same thickness...follow Specs 0w16 best...Factory Engineers..knew the Engine best.

below after about 6 min mark, he kinda indirect mention Dynamic force engine! engine uses 0w-16 EO with 40% or more thermal efficiency 😁

0W or 5W or 10W refers to the oil viscosity under Winter (below zero C) temperatures.... nothing to do with hybrid or starting

Hi fellow Camry Hybrid owners, can I check if anyone finds the wiper speed inadequate?

Other than this issue, I love the car. But seriously, "normal" Singapore rainfall, I need to use the fastest speed already. Visibility is quite poor during heavier rains, compared to any previous car I have driven in local rain.

Mine is an 11-month old Ascent Sport PI model. Highlighted during servicing, was told "all the newer camry is the same".

Wondering if I'm the only one, or if anyone has managed to resolve this?

Think is more due to windscreen not cleaned properly lah. If used rainx or glare or some other treatment sure can repel water very well.
