@Fellows Equipments wise,i think AD has no say over it,they are given by the Factory, based on the targeted OMV,esp in S'pore Market,if you want to have bid Screen, then need to consider P.I. Cars...For example,i bought my F22 BMW M240i more than 3 Years ago,PML offered the 230i M-Sport,it is fully Equipped, selling cheaper near to $40,000 compared with the M240i...which even don't have Leather Seats,Sunroof & HK Audio Syste,...According to Salesman,Equipments wise are given by BMW Asia, not choose by PML.

I watched the review videos few days ago. The Malaysia variant 1 thing sure win, that is the rear bench centre sonsole look stylish. Got digital control buttons for rear shade some more.

Malaysia Model won't be coming to Singapore, non Hybrid with +$15,000 CEV,selling price over $200,000.

I mean the rear bench console lah. It could be indented but will increase OMV lah. Very atas from the article below. But if BM variant even 9" infotainment display also not willing to spec, then this one not much hope. But for PI still maybe.

From a article:

And being the kind of car that people get chauffeured around in, both the new tri-zone climate control and the 9” infotainment unit can be controlled from the rear. Basic controls for these and the rear sunshade can be found in the centre armrest. What’s more, there are controls here that also enable the rear seats to be reclined by up to 8 degrees! As before, there are shoulder buttons on the front passenger seats that allow the rear passenger to easily re-adjust the front seat. The Camry is just as much a drivers car as it is one for those who enjoy being driven.

I don't believe Borneo got absolutely no control over what are the specs of the car they get. Toyota is doing business with local disti being their partners, not dictatorship.

@t0y0ta In order to make a Profit,Borneo only can give low end Specs, like me,i ordered a Camry Hybrid SL Model from a P.I...until now P.I. only bring in my Unit...nobody bring in,the OMV,a whopping $46,899..

Malaysia Version of Camry is sold for RM123k in Langkawi. That is about SGD40k.

Without VES Rebate, it will not move.

TMAP and Borneo has a margin to earn.

Might consider Camry again if BM bring in similar spec. Owned both sushi and tongyam Camry before, sushi's quality is better. But that was 15 years ago. Not sure what is tongyam's quality today. 🙂

Is it possible for PI to bring in this camry from Malaysia?

Me too watched the youtube video and got wowed by the specs and comfort....

From a price perspective, it does not make sense.   OMV is likely to be $40 (which is AD OMV).

On the other hand, Malaysia version will not have 15k rebate.

Might as well follow @ER-3682 get the highest spec Hybrid from Aust.

I know.  With OMV of 40k plus no rebate, I don't think it is worth it.

@Westin Agent..Warranty...peace of mind..P.I. slightly Cheaper..but don't compare my top of line SL Specs.

Toyota mainstream model unlikely to have major issue in the first 5 years.

That's why all go whack camry hybrid from PI... low risk.

Just 1 advice..stick to what Factory Designer/Engineer on the Oil they insist..if all Cars can use 2-3 Types of Oil..why Oil Companies make so many Grades & Types of Oil.?

What you guys say is correct the different oil weight for different climate, but more for cold weather bah, and the heavier oil weight for older engine that run hotter and require heavier oil

but I think Borneo kiasu use weight 30 for more protection thus less warranty claim.

ownside is heavier weight rob the engine performance……fuel economy and power

yes Toyota mention A25A TNGA engine uses weight 16 only

Borneo motor feed my ride weight 30 too
