A abit of curious, why does a traffic warrant standing at the entrance? Is not the 1st time, this is the 2nd time I saw them during peak hours. Jamming all the car.

And that place will always be jam during peak hours. Doesn't matter that bloke is there or not.

Here is the reason.

There is double white line near the entrance, some drivers will last minute cut through the line.

If so, he's probably catching those.

That area I always queue up sometimes took 3 to clear from hougang ave 3 / airport road junction to kpe entrance. Then come queue cutters. Cut in.. Knn man.

 

Hopefully tp and lta and etc take notice of this stretch and make it 2 Lane to enter kpe and it merge right at the entrance. This will surely help in terms of traffic flow.

 

If the bus stop before kpe is the issue, then shift it to after the bus stop or remove it totally as it seems like that bus stop footprint is not high. Then also block off the u turn from the airbase there to kpe entrence. Those from the airbase will have to go all the way to hougang ave 3 / airport road junction make u turn. All these will smoothen the traffic flow.

 

Then the direction from airport road to kpe entrence towards ecp. Perhaps change the road marking to make it left turn only at ubi road 4 junction. So those going to kpe towards ecp Direction will form up at 2nd lane. This will free up 3rd lane for vehicles to make left turn there. Traffic will be more orderly.
