any factory to recommend to reupholster ?

Forget it. Unless your sofa cost at least 7-8 grand, just buy new one.

Mine was customised, the height is much higher so prefer to rewrap.

Anyway, for the benefit of those who want to change the leather of your sofa. I did mine with this shop called Leather One, it’s half leather. 
 

Other shops quoted me $2K and above, this one total $1650. Workmanship OK too. The boss Stephen customer service skill is very good too, patient and answered all my queries.

Haha, no la bro. I want to sit on leather that’s why I re-upholstered ma. They also added infill to buff up the cushion. Buy fabric cover defeat the purpose leh.

The old one lasted me 9 years so it’s ok.

Additional layer of fibre sheet added to pad up for firmness and comfort.

Additional fibre folk also added to backrest and armrest to puff up  for aesthetics and comfort.

Haha, taken from the invoice.

But definitely firmer now, not sunked in.

Maybe they bring all the tools and equipment and the “skin” for the new sofa and then change at your home? 😅
 

From picture, looks like the workmanship not bad. But i think many people never thought of changing the leather on their sofa. Most people will buy new sofa. Lol.

Have cheap alternative. Those universal sofa cover from shopee, less than $50/set.

My leather sofa lasted me 17 years and still going... I seldom sit on it but it still is very Long lasting.
 

I just bought a cheap 3 seater full leather sofa for less than 2k...
