Bonafidestack 4th Gear September 17, 2018 Share September 17, 2018 Recently saw this post from Southeast Tyres and they have stocked up the new S007a tyres from Bridgestone. I went to their website and the tyres look quite amazing on the performance. However, I find the thread pattern a bit bland compared to RE003 and S001. Has anyone tried this tyre? ↡ Advertisement

Potenza S007A High-Performance Tyre Bridgestone Singapore.png Has anyone tried this tyre? Michelin PS4 has pretty much makan the entire UHP tyre market in SG. Almost every tom, dick or harry car running lower profile tyres I see the distinctive new-gen Michelin PS4 side-wall mouldings.... Hard for the others to make any impact unless they are much cheaper.

Ahzq17 1st Gear September 18, 2018 Share September 18, 2018 Looks good leh! https://www.facebook.com/acebatterytyre/posts/1708433362587804 https://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tireMake=Bridgestone&tireModel=Potenza+S007 The Potenza S007 is Bridgestone's Max Performance Summer tire originally developed as Original Equipment for the 2013 Ferrari F12berlinetta. Designed for high-speed vehicles requiring maximum levels of lateral force due to their sporty setup, Potenza S007 tires are performance tuned for dry and wet conditions. However, like all summer tires, they are not intended to be driven in near-freezing temperatures, through snow or on ice. Bridgestone is proud to have been selected to develop tires for the most powerful Ferrari series road car ever produced. The Ferrari F12berlinetta ushers in a new generation of Ferrari 12-cylinders in the form of a car that delivers unprecedented performance (0-125 mph in 8.5 seconds and a top speed over 207 mph) from an exceptional new engine, innovative chassis design and sophisticated aerodynamics. Bridgestone engineers designed the Potenza S007 based on construction and materials technologies developed during Bridgestone's 14 seasons as official FIA Formula One tire supplier. To meet Ferrari's specifications, these technologies were combined with Bridgestone's advanced knowledge of tires at the molecular level, helping to optimize the mixture ratio and reaction between carbon, silica and rubber, which reduces rolling resistance and fuel consumption. Potenza S007 tires feature an asymmetric tread design with wide outside shoulders and unyielding notched-ribs to enhance steering response and grip on dry surfaces. Wide circumferential grooves help channel water through the tire to preserve wet traction. The tire's internal structure includes twin steel belts reinforced with two layers of spirally wrapped nylon to blend high-g cornering with high-speed durability. The casing features rayon cord and a specially tuned construction to enhance cornering grip, even under the most severe load conditions.

It is a 12/12 Lazada Promo Hard for the others to make any impact unless they are much cheaper. You get what you paid. Tyres makes a huge difference in a life and death situation. I personally wouldn't invest on sub par tyres like those china brand.

Although currently on CPC6 due to no suitable tyre size for F1A3 for current ride (crossover). CPC6 also performing very well (better than i expected).

Kar_lover Supercharged January 2, 2019 Share January 2, 2019 i haven been told by a few tire shops that F1A3 is the quietest UHP U think so? I always felt the road surface actually is the major determinant of road noise. When the road is "quiet" type, the tyres i used were all quiet and when noisy, all tyres also noisy. That said, i have not tried ALL UHP tyres in order to agree or disagree with the above and also noise is not an important criteria to me (i already accept that it won't be quiet). To me, i judge: handling, braking and resistance to aquaplaning. Tyres that i have tried (what i can remember) S001, RE001, 002 & 003, PS3, PS4, Sportmaxx (can't remember which one but was bad), AS2 & 3, CSC5, CPC6.

I used KPE and TPE every weekday. huge difference in road noise once i exit KPE to TPE. it's easier to differentiate grip than noise i once changed TURANZA to POTENZA. Can feel the immediate difference in grip.
