Singapore Reckless Drivers Part VI

This stretch of road always have speeding issues. Got history of cameraman taking videos of speeding vehicles there before, right LTA?

I know cause I was in a sonata going above 60 as were many others.

Speed strips or nice orange camera pole might have prevented this accident.

A little ways above would be the covered pathway to the entrance to NYP. Horror of horrors.

Thank goodness the double decker was strategically parked to terminate the rampage.

Perhaps should blitz road safety in all media.

Got video of green off service double decker driving a little bit fast. If you want it. Front and back.

Can't wait for a magnificent night crash on the MCE.

I am being sarcastic you know.

this stretch is okay except for the junction after.......a few misses because extreme left vehicke decided to go straight eventhough it is a turn left only lane. The speeding stretch is the one before where lentor meets with traffic exiting from sle on the right. Think got ants stationed regularly on the overhead bridge just outside the condo. if i meet radx in my dream tonight......i will faint in my dream. We can oni speculate and the only one that knows the truth is the driver himself and his father claims his son's eyes became blurry just before the accident. 3 lives gone because of him...........if he trues to squirm through or give excuses.......can say he has no conscience.

What I meant was GPS showed left turn and he thought bus bay was left turn one?!

dont think so.....steering control have nothing to do with gps! Most likely he was distracted while driving........eyes somewhere else. He veered to the left lane, climbed the kerb and hit 3 people who are most likely family members....a child, his mom and grandmother. He didnt even brake sia!

no brake lights even after mounting the kerb....

g

Probably distracted by whatever he'd been doing except keeping eyes on the roads.

And could not be heading for a turning as posted by another member becos driver accelerated instead of slowing down, hence no brake lights.

the guy either fell asleep or passed out. never brake, never do anything.

I think even the most cock driver in the world also will know if the lorry veer so much ?

His father said his son (lorry driver) eyes suddenly gone blurry....if it's so, shouldn't he step on brakes to slow down instead?

I don't buy that BS excuse, unless he did passed out.

No one will really know except that guy.

But it just seems bit weird, keeping in the lane consistently and not really going very fast either.

I mean even if u distracted by handphone or what etc, will really lose control until like that?

One of the deceased was on whell chair.... :a-rip:

ya.....most probably its the older lady and the one that got thrown up front into the traffic light or lamp post. The other 2 victim most probably got ran over!

video of the accident from a car cam. the lorry switched from the middle lane to the left lane, but continued to veer left and eventually drove along the pavement, hitting 3 pedestrians including one on a wheelchair

Don't seem to see any brake lights.

Seldom see lorry use GPS.

Kns.....i feel sad sia. Lets say the 3 victims were a family......mother (on wheelchair), daughter and grandson died in the accident. Dad (daughter's husband) comes home to an empty home........and wait for the 3 family members to return home.......want to put crying emoticons also cannot......no words or emoticon to describe that feeling.......
