Accident scammers are still roaming our roads, be aware. A good car camera is still your best defence.

"I was driving along Rangoon Road towards Tessensohn Road when this lady ran across the road and wanted to lie in front of my car. She must have seen my dash camera and move on to the next car. Then she decided to go and do it to the back car following me.

Happen on 29/10/18 @ 1950hrs. Best actress award! Drive safely

So now if a drunk driver knocks her down

No one will believe her.

Once caught on film no point risking her life any more.

:D

13yr old....  I think the driver is the moron.

At 13yrs (secondary 1 here), I give them the benefit of lack of experience and knowledge of dangers to be held responsible in this dangerous act.

The driver is an a-hole, will get to regret for life.

what the F was he thinking...

there goes one precious life...

Came across this moronic driver on the way back, leave a gap but when he see the bus coming out quickly move forward to cut off the bus (not to mention lack of graciousness  [furious] )

To bad the bus driver didn't hit him. Te happy to provide video and witness testimony to hammer his NCB [laugh] .

Darwin award ...

The adult's fault for allowing the kid to sit like that. Regret also too late liao.

There must be no compromise to safety

If there’s really Darwin theory of evolution, the parents shouldn’t be around in the first place.

Take note,it is just a normal "Yellow Box",that means if Bus hit the MPV,it is still Bus's Fault,if the Lane is Clear,if it is the "Give Way to Bus" Yellow Box then Bus got the right of Way.

This one not pro. Can see her from miles away.

Along that stretch alot of parallel roadside parking. If someone wants to deliberately hide in between the parked cars and then last second jump out onto the road, there is almost no way anyone can react fast enough.

I always keep an extra lookout for these blind spots whenever I drive pass that area, especially at night.

That's risky also. Let's say you react fast enough to brake. The car behind hits you.

You still meet with an accident just that you never knock into scammer who may not only be aiming for you to knock him/her down but for you to have an accident so the workshop can earn.

It's actually a no brainer.

I rather avoid a scam with possible human injury  and let the rear whack my boot. It's easier to repair a car than a human body.

The one who did not keep a safe following distance and whack my boot can enjoy paying for my boot repair at C&C with complimentary replacement car to drive.

If there is ever a scam of such scenario as what you laid out.....the scammer must have not been very smart.

Looking at it the bus entered the yellow box first, if the mpv kept in the lane he would hit the bus. If he hit the bus while doing the side maneuver he would be sideswiping himself.

To me I would see it as an indication of fault as he had ample time to stop. The situation would be revered had he entered the yellow box before the bus exited and he got hit by the bus exiting out of the bus bay imo.
