ya......i drives on bke everyday.........1 slowpoke of a biker will occupy i freaking lane with acres of clear rd in front......you want to change lane to overtake also difficult.....heavy vehicles on left and a line of lane-splitters on the right. And that lone slowpoke will be nonchalant about his roadhogging......

 

haiz yeah lo......i feel that the oblivion attitude exists in bikers as well as drivers too........such drivers and bikers alike happily do things to their convenience without regard to themselves causing inconvenience to other road users.

the bmw did an illegal straight eventhough its a turn left only lane.....sure got saman and points for doing an illegal lane change. He can only be guilty of that...........the cam car failed to keep a safe distance so he is guilty of that. Its better the bmw kana by tp then escape for free. BMW is committed to that lane and he could have made a uturn at the hotel entrance just up front........

 

 

some road only have 1 lane for turn left unfortunately this one has two, hence the BMW went further up thought he could still filter right to go straight, quite common for this stretch for many who work around this area. TP would probably just issue a warning.

 

as for the accident it can be avoided, looking at the clip the BMW did indicate he is filtering right, if the Mazda that was just next to it can brake on time, why the cam car (from that distant) cannot anticipate?  My point was accident can be avoided in the case, not who is right or wrong cos the inconvenience is on the accident vehicles, even if the BMW get summon.

I met a real siao lang few days ago at a ward, next to my mum's bed. 7am in the morning playing Linkin Park song and sing it at the top of her voice and say she is a rock star.

I like Linkin Park songs too but not to the extend to disturb the other patients.

 

Then next moment play some Christian songs and say all those holy stuff. God is great and so on.

 

 

Ya, she has schizophrenia. The psychiatrist came and chatted with her then i know. I wonder how ppl around her live with her nonsense.

BMW driver was being sarcastic? 

 

That's a new one.   [laugh]

 

I liked BMW's token signalling though. "OK you obviously didn't get my sarcasm, I'm really going straight on."  Actually Mazda caught on quickly, good job [thumbsup] , cam car was stuck in his own imaginings, like many here.  Confusing times, what with all this cross-talk and sarcrasm (sic).

And we should not encourage her. Also in another ward got one patient keeping scolding the nurses in hokkien expletives. Really tough to be a missy.

this reminds me of an accident to my vehicle many years ago in 2001.......one very old honda on the front my immediate left lane cut into my lane (lane 1) very abruptly.  my being observant and quick reflexes saw me avoid hitting into that honda but my right side wing mirror did graze the protruding bushes as i hit the brakes and turned my steering wheel slightly to the right to avoid hitting that honda.

 

the citicab behind me was however, too slow to react and rear-ended my car. that honda car (i suspect part of the syndicate then to stage accidents and tout their workshop and insurance claim service.  indeed another "kind-hearted" motorist appeared not long later to help and give me name card of a workshop to repair my car) quickly scooted out of sight, leaving me and the citicab to exchange particulars.  a 4th car (bmw) driver stopped and offered to be witness against the honda.

 

eventually citicab driver and me went TP to lodge report against the honda driver and provided contact details of the bmw driver as witness.  i had to claim against the insurance of the citicab.  several months later, i only received a letter from TP informing me the honda car driver was given a warning.....

 

in this case shared on mcf, i agree with you most likely the bmw car driver will get off with a warning at most......the cam car insurance still have to foot the repair.......

to exit like that.....thats reckless.......just like the bedok accident when the car swiped the motorbike who then lost his life because he was speeding.

That bmw should have just drove following the lane and do a turn towards Esplanade.......imagine if it was a motorcyclist in placed of the mazda....he could ended up under a bus or car if he tried to siam the bm. If the mazda crashed into the bm and with video evident.....bmw will be held more liable for the accident.

There is a traffic junction.  Maybe do a u turn there or else go all the way to National stadium junction.  

 

But sure can u turn at around ducktours parking area. Or worse left turn and loop around to Raffles city again. Drive longer Abit only. 

 

The BMW horrible choice of insistent going forward. Causing grief to other drivers. 

 

Most probably old school and don't drive often.

as I said, IMH ppl think all of them are ok. Similarly, outside of IMH, normal ppl think IMH ppl not normal...@mustank can verify, he IMH resident haaaaaaaaaaa

Going left with the road would bring the BMW parallel to Suntec ducktours parking area.

My apologies....got the wrong junction. The bm wanted to save his time but ended up giving grief to others. Wrong lane......lan lan.....go do a detour! Shouldnt do that kind of stunt on the road.
