Singapore Reckless Drivers Part VI

As a former Biker, I sometimes feel safer splitting Lane due to tailgaters... Especially big lorry tailgaters

Actually, in terms of lorry tailgaters, that's another different problem altogether.

It's happening cos somebody is not doing its job.

Lorries should not be allowed to speed and tailgate to begin with, but nobody's stopping them now.

Just this morning during school run, there was a big lorry (those 12-15 m long ones) that was going at 80+ km/h on the slip road from Tampines Rd joining KPE...

Why are these lorry drivers so emboldened to be doing such thing? It's the same reason why all the vans, buses, lorries are travelling - and camping - on lane 2 or 3 of the expressways...

The TPs are busy checking their whatsapp/FBs in their offices and not keeping our roads safe...

Probably can car was hopping that the m6 horn the heck out of the bmw n was not paying attention to know empathy does exist for people who made mistake n karma strikes. But we will never know what the cam car was thinking.

cam car didnt expect mazda to stop and most prob took his chances.......it should have been a smooth drive until the bmw cut across the nx lane and the chevron.

Mazda fault never keep safe distance to stop gently

That makes no sense.  How can the Mazda know the BMW would do that? Mazda stopped in time, good job.

This forum is weird.   [laugh]

i prefer lane-splitting bikers to be faster than me........lane splitting but slowpoke is a danger to everyone himself included. Lane-splitting has been practised for so many yrs but oni recently there are so many accidents involving them........can only say there is a change in mentality among a certain segment of road users.

yes, i also feel lane splitting bikers to be quicker but don't like them to be perpetually on the divider.  many times i want to filter but a swarm of them will be occupying the divider, i can't move my car one inch even.

ya......i drives on bke everyday.........1 slowpoke of a biker will occupy i freaking lane with acres of clear rd in front......you want to change lane to overtake also difficult.....heavy vehicles on left and a line of lane-splitters on the right. And that lone slowpoke will be nonchalant about his roadhogging......

If the bus is not there, more pedestrians might have been killed.

The bus blocked and deflected the lorry outwards.

Singapore is so safe that most if not all look at this as a "normal" traffic accident. On the other side of the world, people first impression is terrorism!

On the same day (23 April), at least 10 people were killed and 14 were injured when a man plowed a van into a crowd of pedestrians on a Toronto sidewalk Monday afternoon in what Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau called “a senseless attack and a horrific tragedy.”

The 25 year old driver, identified by authorities as Alek Minassian, was charged Tuesday morning with 10 counts of first-degree murder and 13 counts of attempted murder.

Ehmm...

- 23 April 2018

- Van / lorry invloved

- Drive onto pavement

- Multiple fatality / injury

- Both 25 years old drivers

I met a real siao lang few days ago at a ward, next to my mum's bed. 7am in the morning playing Linkin Park song and sing it at the top of her voice and say she is a rock star.

This song :

I like Linkin Park songs too but not to the extend to disturb the other patients.

Then next moment play some Christian songs and say all those holy stuff. God is great and so on.

Ya, she has schizophrenia. The psychiatrist came and chatted with her then i know. I wonder how ppl around her live with her nonsense.
