DACH Supersonic September 12, 2018 Share September 12, 2018 Okay. If they are all super highly paid because the majority voted for it, that I have nothing to say. But to even feed these mofos who are already highly paid before retirement with the pension scheme, I see no point. And I completely agree with you they should just learn how to survive on CPF handouts as I'm sure they have no problems meeting CPF withdrawal minimum sum. Scrap the pension scheme and save us taxpayers the money. I can't imagine giving pension to "talents" like Mah Bow Tan,Raymond Lim, Wong Kan Seng, Lim Swee Say. CCB PAP... The "lethal striking" solution that can help citizens to reduce their taxes paid!!! ↡ Advertisement

Carbon82 Moderator September 17, 2018 Share September 17, 2018 Damage control lai liao, but frankly, I still see ambiguities in the response and white paper tabled, or maybe I am just another mediocre who... ... Does our Prime Minister get paid up to $4.5 million a year? Several websites and social media pages have jumped on the issue of ministerial salaries in recent weeks. Falsehoods: Falsehood #1: The government is not upfront about how ministerial salaries are calculated.Fact: This is false. The pay components are set out in a White Paper, which was tabled in Parliament in 2012. You can find the White Paper here. The MR4 Minister’s annual salary of $1.1 million includes bonuses. If the minister doesn’t do well – and if the economy doesn’t do well – he may get well below $1.1 million. Falsehood #2: Our Prime Minister is being paid $2.2 million a year as a base salary, not including bonuses. His total salary is $4.5 millionFact: This is false. The Prime Minister’s norm salary is set at two times that of an MR4 Minister. His $2.2 million annual salary includes bonuses. The Prime Minister does not receive a Performance Bonus as there is no one to assess his performance annually. He does receive the National Bonus. This article is accurate as of September 2018.
Vratenza Supersonic September 17, 2018 Share September 17, 2018 I agree. Sorry, mediocre brain here.....anyone care to explain this: So, the PM's salary is set at 2X of MR4 ministers which included ALL their bonuses including their performance bonuses......If the PM grade the MR4 ministers and award the MR4 ministers top performance grading and bonuses, doesn't it mean that the PM is grading himself and awarding his own bonuses indirectly? Vratenza Supersonic September 17, 2018 Share September 17, 2018 See my previous post on why this is potentially bullcrap to muddy the water. If the PM assess and awards performance bonus of his MR4 ministers under him, and his salary is 2X of the MR4 ministers' salary, wouldn't it means own self award ownself performance bonus indirectly?
