steveluv Twincharged October 3, 2018 Author Share October 3, 2018 (edited) So @Afv_v200, this evening I went to the porridge shop you posted, thanks again for the lead Here's a short video I made https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EmeGzhDlg8o I'm sure Jok Prince took the name from this very very old cinema nearby in this small soi Shop front Long queue for take away, so if you eat there simply go in and find yourself a seat and someone will very quickly come take your order Narrow shop Porridge is prepared My dinner Prices Ok my comment on this porridge stall, I have to say its the best I've had so far in my 13 years here, the porridge is the smoothest, minced pork is big and generous. But coming from Singapore I have to say I prefers the Tiong Bahru porridge but then living in Bangkok this is probably the place I will go for my fix, parking is very challenging though. steveluv Twincharged October 4, 2018 Author Share October 4, 2018 This evening healthy activity and dinner at a community mall near home. In Bangkok a community mall is a building that has a few shops the mix is usually - a few small simple restaurants, 1-2 small bank branches, clinic, beauty centre, pet grooming, small supermarket etc. It's basically a small shopping area for the houses or condos around it. Many Thais call these community malls Avenue as there's a company who opened a many community malls known as Avenue. This is my first time to visit this Panya Village having moved here 11 months was delightfully surprised with a few shops first of all found this very nice Wellness shop offering healing massages and spa. Picked a 1hr foot massage that costs only 240 baht Wash feet Prices After the 1hr very nice massage went for a simple Isaan dinner here We had Somtam pala (fermented fish) Somtam Thai Grilled beef This meal costs only 210 baht After the meal went to the 24hrs supermarket to buy some fruits and vegetables for tomorrow morning's juicing

AFV_V200 3rd Gear October 5, 2018 Share October 5, 2018 Waaaaaa swee thanks buddy OMG you are the blogger? Really honoured. So you from HK? Yes I love gai-yang very much. Haha. Hit your sweet spot then. I am afraid you may want to buy the entire kart of their BBQ chicken, their seasoning is fantastic. Commitment of a food blogger is something I am trying very hard to do it (and new born just arrived make it even harder for me), and the best part I was Chinese stream student. So writing in English is not easy for me man. Go try it and let me know does it hit your sweet spot. :)
steveluv Twincharged October 5, 2018 Author Share October 5, 2018 Great lunch today. Ok so I posted this video in the other thread but some photos I post here with the video again. Thailand beef noodle is very popular with locals and foreigners as its very unique to Thailand. The aroma of the soup the taste of the sour chili sauce and best of all the braised beef is wonderful. Went to my favourite shop, a very old and run down shop but always crowded for its special hotpot beef soup. Hot pot has to go with cold cold beer If order hotpot here have 4 choices of dishes - fresh beef slices ; braised briskets ; innards ; beef balls. For me I chosen fresh beef slices, beef balls and 2 portions of braised beef. Vegetables comes compliment Here you see fresh beef slice and a portion of braised beef brisket. Another portion of braised beef and the beef balls are inside the soup More soup Soup with vegetables Here's the entire shop https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pp75oe9ueb0
