After getting the VEP, do i still to use the physical card to tap at the tolls? Or just drive through? Any overhead signboard to indicate which lanes for VEP?

You still need the card.

RFID is not widely implemented.  Mainly in Klang Valley.  NSHW can't use RFID

Just to share my learning points while creating the T&G account.

When creating account, it suppose to send you OTP to your registered hp number.

Click the OTP about 3 times as I did not receive it after each 60s  countdown ended.

Gave up and closed app.

The OTP came about 10mins later. (maybe due to overseas sms, takes longer to reach us)

Open the app again to use OTP and it worked. (thought the OTP suppose to expire for security reason...)

I topped up card with my credit card. No hiccups here.

After that, it asked for referral code.

Supposedly both the referral and referred get 5X toll rebates.

Was searching thread for referral code but couldn't find any.

Win-win for both.

So here is my T&G referral code: 2eb9if

Cheers!  [laugh]

Cash top up at petrol station/convenience store then. 😁

I rather pay the fee than bring cash around.

This is the app rather than the card

the fee of 2.6% is quite high. After some time you will feel heart pain and find other sources 😁

Wait for TnG to make the official announcement.

If it really is 2.6%, then just revert to paying tolls by physical TnG card and shopping with debit card.

Ok. So far nobody kenna 2.6% as stated. Still 1% or some no fee. 🤷‍♂️

Seems like TNG trying to cover the credit card charges.

But cc will also charge the currency conversion for the top up.

1% applies for all debit card top ups. Not sure about credit cards.

I will not be topping up the e-wallet anymore since I can use debit card to pay for my shopping anyway.

Highway tolls? I only use TNG card.

RFID is for RC and the causeway toll only. Use till e-wallet depleted, then I'll revert to TNG card. Top up of TNG card is free anyway if you know where. Only catch is only cash is accepted.
