teomingern 6th Gear May 20, 2019 Share May 20, 2019 Hi, does anyone feel that the aircon is not cold enough? I was previously driving a Mazda 2 and just recently changed to Avante, not sure if its because Mazda 2 is small hence easier for the aircon to cool the car. For Avante, i have to turn to min fan 2 speed and temp knob to just 2 to 3 "clicks" above the coldest temp It's normal... it's simply a matter of how the thermostat is calibrated... nothing wrong... different makes have different ways of calibrating it... basically the Japanese like very cold aircon... hence their aircon is usually set very low... for the Koreans, it seems they follow the European standard... not as cold... perhaps their climate plays a part too... I don't have a problem with that... just adapt lor... ↡ Advertisement

My dad's altis needs two notches out of 5 and I'm okay even on scorching afternoons, but my Avante needs 3 or sometimes even max fan for the same temp

Everytime i flick wrongly, the wipers came up.

Fyi, my old Mazda 2 and new Avante are both Grey Edited May 20, 2019 by UncleSky
