I believe upgrade shouldn't b a problem but subjected to stocks availability. Unless u dun mind waiting for new shipment. So contact your SE asap. He/she will b more than happy to help u do the upgrade.

Hi everyone!

May I ask, is 2019 Avante transmission a CVT type?

6-speed Auto Transmission

But when the needle hits the Empty mark, how much did you fill up to full tank? Is it 45/50/55L?

There's probably some reserve that is not used.

You don't need to wait till empty mark or what the computer tells you.

Supposedly, one of the way to measure FC is to take any fuel tank, go fill up to full first.

Reset your trip odometer, drive as you like.

When finishing this tank of fuel, fill to full tank again, and then note the distance traveled (value A) using this amount of fuel (Value B).

Then calculate (divide distance, A by amount of fuel, B).

This should be your FC for your last tank of fuel.

1. If u r using android phone, u need to install android auto first (i believe iphone oso need to install carplay).

2. Connect your phone using usb cable to the usb port.

3. Tap on navigation icon on the head unit. If u hv Google map and waze, select which one u want to use as default.

For iPhones, no need to install if on you are on iPhone 5 and above.

Mainly, if your phone has Siri, then you are already good to go, just plug in.

Note: 2019 Hyundai Avante has NO wireless Carplay as far as it is known, your phone needs to be tethered (connected by wire).

I believe even if you already gotten your COE, it is a temporary COE, no matter which trim you choose, it still can be used since the different trims are all still CAT A COE.

Unless your SE and Hyundai backend already assigned a chasis & engine to you, then that might be slightly harder to make a change.

Collected my black basic trim. SE, Hubbard was very patient and led the checks on the car. In fact he was holding a checklist that he used when he took over the car. Car bonnet is very heavy so be careful when you lifted it up, otherwise it can easily crush yr hands or fingers. The drive home was comfortable and the steering felt light. Basic trim central console where the usb is placed, is arranged horizontally and not vertical like S and elite. Audio is a four speakers system without the two tweeters. S has tweeters. So the extra premium that you guys paid for S is worth it. Don't know what brand! Haven't read the manual yet. But the sound is decent! I was given freebies, like those mentioned earlier umbrellas keys pouches, bags, cardcard etc. SE gave me rubberized car mat. At this point, I cant comment much but I am a satisfy customer. The experience was awesome during the buying process as well as collecting the car.

SE, Hubbard is from RTMT!

You can always ask your SE whether upgrade will affect your delivery schedule? If they say no, then no worry about delay.

No.

You don't like CVT?

Thanks for the info, Sktan 10. As for whether I liked CVT or not, I have no comments as I did not owned a car with CVT transmission before :)

Avante S trim air conditioning control design not nice...too old school. Same for basic trim?

Again personal opinion only.

Lol.....I agree with you on that....and my view is that the whole dashboard design is old school compared to the Kia & new Mazda 3. Buts it’s ok, the Hyundai is still more value for money
