I guess they expected high demand for test drive...so not putting one in the showroom.

 

I didn't know white is popular; I thought it is always the silver colour.

 

I have not seen the pre-facelift grey before, so I can't say for sure whether it is the same.

Even the demand for test drive is high, think still need to have display car inside the showroom la, so that people can take a closer look on the car. Wonder when will a display car available?

 

Notice the signal lights on avante seems like even lower than the cerato, the front signal lights located at the fog light level and the rear signal lights also almost on the end of bumper area. Is this the latest design on korean car? Lol. I always find signal lights if located too low at the bumper area, like not very visible to others road user, esp during traffic jam when cars are very close to each other.

Avante front signals light yes isolated at the fog light level , as for the rear signal if I remember correctly is inside the rear lamp not at bumper like new cerato.

 

I do have to agree with you If rear signal light is too low the rear car might not be able to see it especially in Jam where the cars are very close to each other

If u notice, Hyundai's 1.0T engine option for various models (Kona in SG, i30 in UK etc) is only in manual. Since Hyundai and Kia are essentially the same management, I believe they provided 1.0T auto only in Kia side to avoid both brands from cannibalizing each other

The Stonic's is built on the Rio/Accent platform, DCT of this 1.0 engine has already appeared on the i20 sold in Europe.

 

A year ago when Stonic launched in Europe, the 1.0 turbo was also available only as a 6MT.

 

Larger platform vehicles such as the Kona and the i30 will have to wait as the clutch needs to be beefed up.

I sign up for S model. The package covers 7+7 servicing and warranty for pre launch. I duno what’s the package now. But they sounds like pre launch deal is very attractive. I dun even know there is a price difference. If not I would ask for the discount before I sign the contract.

Quite a few Saturdays back i called and asked. The SE who picked up the phone at the reception mentioned that there is discount for prelaunch but for limited units. Yours is 78,999?

Did you check with your SE why wasn't you offered the 1k discount? Shouldn't all buyer be offered the same deal during pre-launch?

If there also signal lights on the side mirror still not so bad. So the light that at the bumper level should be the reverse light then. I still looking where is the signal lights at the rear located? Lol.

 

Anyway, how much did SE give discount from the list price? Example like elite list price is $85k, so how much is the final price offered?

Yours was considered prelaunch also right? So it could be exclusive to limited units for 77,999 during prelaunch before it goes back to 78,999. Mine is the 2018 elantra. Was curious about the avante 2019 therefore i called to find out more information.

yes at first i also thought the bottom is signal light too lol until i saw the actual car.
