Blind spot detection, ventilated seats n driver memory seats are really good to have but I will only pay at most $4-$5k more for these features. Think it’s more than that cos got some other extras as well.

If you are willing to pay 4k to 5k more for these three items, then KM's pricing is correct.

Brochure is out

Looks like the the difference between S and Elite trim only 4 additional features? Seems like this avante S trim quite a good deal as compared to previously Elantra S trim when it launched.

I heard it’s $7k more between S vs Elite so not worth it IMO though I would like those 3 items I mentioned. Admittedly, there r other features like LED lights etc so that may justify the price but I ain’t biting if I were to buy. S pricing seems more platable.

Driver memory seat is good cos I got more than 1 driver in my household. Blind spot detection is a good safety feature n ventilated seats for our hot climate is God send.

Went for the private viewing and the actual car look very beautiful especially the S and elite trim , the lowest spec 'auto' however doesn't look as nice as compare to 'S' and 'elite' trim especially that rear lamp plus it lack of few good feature that only S and elite trim have.

Just been told that ballpark OMV for the 3 variants are approx $12k, $14k n $16k respectively which means the pricing difference shld be $4.5k (can accept $5k) so base to S is about there but not S to Elite.

Wow, OMV still lesser than Cerato SX (full spec)...hmm..

What is the OMV for cerato SX?

Both S and elite trim comes with 16 inch tyre which i think look nice liao.

yes the 16inch look way better than the 15inch , the 15inch look very small and weird for mid size sedan like avante.

plus the S and elite have the chrome lining on the front grill , window, chrome door handle , together with the LED rear lamp and front lamp day running LED make the car looks very classy

For any mid size sedan, the tyre should comes at least 16 inch de. Thats why the elantra elite trim look more proportionate and nice. Although the exterior of both S and elite trim look almost the same, but the size of the tyre makes the elite trim stand out. Good that they give 16 inch tyre for this facelift avante for S and elite trim.

SE advised me to wait till after CNY before buying. Some dealers will rush to deliver cars before CNY so COE will rebound a bit from 23k which makes sense.

Should be a gradual downtrend again, once COE breaches 20k, its go go go.

Just went to see the car. Spec wise is indeed better than current and hope it will stay as it is and not remove some after some time.

Still waiting for LTA inspection approval before test drive can be done. On a side note, just realised i30 range all came with LED headlights now.

Generally, any car that are factory assemled will be accepted as it is.

Only concern is emission std & power output.

I think no matter for which trim, the interior space is the same. The difference between each trim is on features.

If compared between the prelifted elantra and this facelifted avante, this avante is better?
