U will still enjoy the 5+2 years extended warranty and 7 years Free Service. This package will be taken out once the Avante passed inspection. Anyone purchase the Avante after it has passed inspection will not be given 7 years Warranty and 7 years free service. Just wondering why the price did not drop even when COE drop They foresee the coe will go up? ↡ Advertisement

Just wondering why the price did not drop even when COE drop If the OMV is close to that of the out going Elantra(about $12k) , then the total cost base on current COE will be about $57k only, it is not worth buying it unless one goes for the look only. So lets wait for the OMV and see how it goes. Now Hyundai is turning the tide around , they are selling better than Toyota, so KM is doing what BM did to their customer before. Heartbreakid 6th Gear December 6, 2018 Share December 6, 2018 Indeed with the recent COE prices, their cars should be selling at a price range of 65k to 75k.

There are many attendant issues with those engines... I read an article on Autocar that the most reasonable small petrol turbo engine capacity which is both powerful enough and saves fuel plus gives good emission is the 1.6 turbo... anything smaller is a waste of time. That's also why some of these engines which used to power larger cars have slowly disappeared... they fail the new inspection regimes in Europe and US miserably... I don't know how these small 3 cylinder 12V engine can move the car. And to pay $136K for a 999cc car? But well everyone has their own preference. That's why 20 years down the road 1.6NA will continue to be sold here (assuming COE structure stays the same and oil companies continue their grip on our economy)
