Mazda up their price.

Seems like high COE predicted.

Mazda always up their price few days or a day before the bid, standard.

Thanks to TS for the many threads and records. This is the final COE bidding before I renew my Stream in Sep. Hoping it will maintain or even dip - once May's COE is off the average, it should work out to be some nice savings...

So long as CAT B COE < 42000 then cheaper to renew in Sept when COE expire.

Anything > 42000 then need to renew using August PQP before Sept.

Mine expiring in End Sept too.

I was wondering.. if we renew the COE for 5 or 10 years, in between we wanna sell and change car, will there be any value to it? Will dealers want to take in?

10 year yes, 5 year no. At most mayb they will take on consignment, but doubt they'll buy unless u lelong to them.

Renew 5 yrs usually with intention to drive till scrap to minimize the depreciation.

Very hard to sell anytime during the 5 years unless willing to let go at or slightly higher than scrap value (most likely losing out on the forfeited parf value).

At current PQP prices, renew 10 years is still the most logical option, to me anyway.

if i'm not wrong, if renew 5yrs, cannot renew again and must scrap 5yrs later but if renew 10yrs, still can renew again 10yrs later.

I see... so it’s best to go for 10 yr coe renewal. But I still see SgCarMart dealers selling cars already renewed with 5 yr COE.
