Windscreen crack - repair or change

hi sorry dig this thread out. there's a hairline crack on my windscreen but i have no clue how it happened. almost like it happened overnight. didnt notice any stone hitting or any of that stuff. it's a strange looking crack with a curve. is it remotely possible the crack could have happened due to the car coming of age?

+1.  At high speed, the wind pressure on the windscreen will cause the crack to widen.  The only thing holding back the danger is the solar film if u have it.  Else the windscreen may cause injury so pls dont anyhow gib wrong advice.  I say one, bcos my windscreen cracked twice already.
