In the 1st bideo, both cyclist & driver has sibei big ego.  In a narrow road with so many hump, car will never be able to beat a strong & egoistic cyclist.  Somemore, the conversation is ownself pawn ownself.

Why lately these few years we are seeing cyclists all over the place? Why it is uncommon during 10 years or more ago? Who started this trend?

Last time, ah chek, one person cycling on the road, nobody complain.

Now, all gang up, dress up in expensive leotards, behave boorishly, like they own the roads, people complain.

it's the sickness of prosperity.

 

We want speedsters off the road, go to a proper track and speed all they want without endangering others.

 

The same thing should apply to these cyclists. Get them off the roads, (esp during peak hours) go to a track and do thousands of cycles in a track, in a stadium and bothers nobody.

But of cuz not, they want their exercise, they want it their way.

 

LTA support cyclists, so that's that.

 

We will keep getting conflicts between cyclists and drivers.

And the main cause is the difference in speed.

 

As drivers, we complain.

But think about the bus drivers, the lorry drivers.

They have difficulty moving forward when kena blocked by cyclists.

More develop countries has more cyclist. These develop countries even have cycling path and air pumps along the cycling path.

 

When I started cycling on the road in 1998, there were not much cyclist at all. ECP was such a wonderful place to cycle, so is Changi coast road.

 

Nowadays, too many cyclist.
