Man city still the Top team. Hopefully Liverpool can push them right till the end.

Spur should have a penalty, seem like last season wrong judgement against us slowly even out to this season.

Yes agreed City n Pool the likely contenders for the title n I would have added Chelsea but I feel their defence is suspect n it doesn’t help that as good a player Jorginho is, he doesn’t have Kante’s defensive qualities to help protect the defence. They have leaked goals but they are scoring as well but all Championship winning teams have a solid rear guard first n foremost.

Pool has the hunger to win.

Spurs at home. Abeit a temp home. But still home advantage but played like an away team.

Dembele showing his weat and tear liao.

Rose not the same liao after his injury.

Playing winks on the left is a mistake.

Dier also deproving.

Eriksen also play badly.

Whole issue is no new players to come in to challenge them for a starting 11 berth.

Spurs should have got a last minute penalty.

They only reason they didn't is they have a reputation

for diving last minute to get a draw.

Too bad cry wolf too many times and this happens.

Suck it up spuds.

Mauricio Pochettino admits wanting Tottenham to "trick the opponent, in a good way" as diving debate rumbles on

Pochettino was criticised when he implied after Spurs midfielder Dele Alli was booked for simulation at Anfield on Sunday that diving was "a minimal issue" and that "football is about trying to trick your opponent".

Tottenham in cheat storm as Virgil van Dijk accuses Harry Kane and Erik Lamela of conning penalties from referee Pochettino admits to practising diving and cheating

“In Argentina, yes, the people sometimes practise that, it’s true,” Pochettino told the National in 2016, following some more Alli theatrics.

“But many years ago. Now I don’t know. But when I was a player always it was part of training to try to cheat. At Newell’s, many, many years ago it was part of practice.

This is why Spurs didn't get the last minute penalty they actually deserved.

Cry wolf too many times and when the wolf really came then too bad.

Another week over.

Main talking points:

Liverpool exocised the ghost of their one real humiliation last season, where they lost 4-1. Outplayed Spurs for long periods and should have gone something like the season when they won 0-5 at WHL. Wasteful and had to weather some nervy final minutes plus some luck to win 1-2 eventually. Spurs will need to improve... Hope they do so against the other top teams [laugh]

City strolled to victory, looks to be undoubtedly back on track after that surprise draw, but they will continue to breathe down the leaders' neck to wait for Chelsea/Pool to drop points.

Chelsea looks to have left the community shield well behind them, when they were outclassed by City, and looks to be doing the right things, ensuring they win all points, and even score more goals such that they now lead the table on goal difference.

Arsenal after a slow start, is starting to click and getting the points every match. If they tighten their defence, with an attack that's so strong on paper, they should win a lot of matches.

Utd did well in the first half to go 2 up, and survived relentless Watford fightback to win 1-2. Must say that Watford is impressive, not holding back and will attack with 5-6 pushing up as soon as they win the ball. Pity they didn't earn a draw at least, with their determination and drive. Should do decently well this season. Utd is also getting the points, so Mourinho will be safe.

Pickford was quoted out of context recently when he was said that he will not make same mistake as Allison. One bad pass resulted in a goal against him, so he would be disappointed... West Ham finally got a win, and quite convincingly a margin at 1-3, and the highlights show a lot of attacks from both teams.

When Pick the ball from his own net make the comment he won't make the same mistake as Alison many said on the net his comment will come back to haunt him.

If I was a keeper I would have said keepers always make mistakes. Great saves are soon forgotten but mistakes no one forgets.

Of course he was telling everybody he is better than Alison in this regard but now everyone laugh at him.

I suspect Liverpool are a very revengeful team.

City beat them 5-0 and Pool beat them for the next 3 games refusing to let them win again.

Last season Spurs beat them 4-1 at Wembly and this season Pool beat them 2-1.

They are just so mean.

The 5-0 at City was a direct result of Mane's red card after he clattered into Ederson, when only 1-0 down. In fact, game was very even and Mendy + Otamendi were having a torrid time against Salah before a surprise through ball let City take the lead arguably against the run of play, before the red card. After that, it was one way traffic with the team having no drive and will to come back - and City was ruthless in hitting the opponents when they are down.

Apart from the 3 games, Pool also beat City in preseason.

Let's hope Pool will continue to beat City again this season.

The Chelsea manager is the second most underrated manager in PL.

Chelsea are now playing Sarri ball and even outscoring Liverpool.

The most underrated manager in the PL is Wolves manager.

He is so underated I don't know how to spell his name.

City strength is bully small teams.

Have a go and attack them and see their defence is weak.

There full backs are wingers first and defnders second.

No Kompany defence leak goals.

Can you imagine if Southampton didn't sell all their best players?

They would be competing in the Champions League.

If I was a billionaire oil sheikh I would buy Southampton and I wouldn't need to pump in a billion I would just not sell the best players by paying them a better salary and win everything.
