4 out of 4. Me have no complain. Good 12 points into the international break.

Just a little sad the clean sheet is gone. If beaten by a stupendous goal I got nothing to say but....

At least it was a wake up call that did not result in dropped points, i will rather that.

4 games, 1st game in 3rd gear, next 3 games in 2nd gear. and we are still perfect. its a good time to be a LFC fan.

allison's a prick, but if he pulls that off, we would all be wah wah wah. him making a mistake today when we still get 3 points is the best thing. he shld know how to lup the ball down the pitch the next time. his save in the first half, looks normal, but i tot was great, he move to his left before dropping to the right to save the shot

Gomez: absolutely immense today. Loverns sacrifice for croatia means he will be 3rd choice, maybe even fourth. not that i am complaining though.

Milner: probably the best mf today

Shiqiri: nice cameo, think will play a bigger part soon.

long wait for next game

Yes pool won but what a poor game. Sigh.

i would watch 38 poor games if we win every of them

4 games into the season. Game 1 was damn good.. then the next quite bad. Man U played so much better than pool.. strategically and tactically.. and yet they are 6 points back.. or maybe 9 points back by today.. so what I am saying.. we so fugged up can only win 4 out of 4!

Hendo purposely selected to help create an additional option to relieve the high pressing pressure. I think he did alright, not outstanding but acceptable.

Our pressing was not really gd. I'm infurious with Alisson last night. He have great reflex, distribution, positioning and ice cold mentality. All gd except the unnecessary risk part need to eliminate.

In fact the Leicester fans tried to pressure him into making another mistake whenever Alison receives the ball but yeah he was unfazed by it and in fact very quickly recomposed himself and did well for rest of match. But this episode he must learn and be humble enough to acknowledge his mistake. Great keepers messed up from time to time too. Just ask David De Gea or Manuel Neuer. Or Buffon.

Klopp, in his usually assuring mode, defended Alisson and was glad that it happened in a game whereby pool was 2 nil up and eventually did not lose any points.

Back in the dressing room, i think there wont be any doubt that Klopp will lay down the marker that this sort of risks should not be taken any further, lest he becomes another Karius whereby everyone will be nick-picking his smallest error.

Allison was initially let down by a poor back-pass from VVD. He found himself in corner with no one near him to pass the ball. He wanted to keep possession of the ball and tried a Johan Cruyff turn and dribble in the box.  the problem is that Allisson just told the whole world he will do such things in the box and the striker was all ready for this move.  the rest was history.

What Allison needs to do now is to hoof the ball up whenever he needs to clear the ball. until such time strikers are used to it.. then he can try these samba moves again.. once in a while.

In short.. Allison need to have a mixed of performance so that striker won’t be able to Guess what he want to do.

if you take away his 1 outstanding error in the game, he actually had a a good game. saving a few good shots. But once he made this type of comical and bewildering error, his ratings for the entire game just plummeted..

Agree. I think he has good mental strength. After that boo boo, he was back to his assured & composed style.  [thumbsup]

Although we have not played any dangerous team yet, this is the type of game we would have lost or drawn last season.

Has been a while since we have a country first choice as goalkeeper
