imo Pool already short on CBs so i dont think should offload Klavan unless got replacement coming in...

agreed too but Echo reported Klavan wishes to have more 1st team playing time.  at 32, I think Klavan's wishes are valid.

However, it will leave Klopp exposed until the Jan window to replenish.  I think too much of a risk to take too.

one important aspect. your board must be willing to support your manager in the transfer market.

pool board on evidence do support kloop.

At 32 his wish is valid... but his body can take it or not.

As long as Ramos is at Madrid Salah will never join that.

I hope he stays forever.

:D

Good thing Salah is from Egypt..  rather than samba players or South Amercian players who die die have a dream to play for either Real or Barca.

Salah is enjoying his football.. and being a real football player, he is happy enough for time being.  It is up to Liverpool to show that he can also realise dreams of silverwares..

to be honest, I can't remember the last time pool fans are genuinely expectant that Pool should be able to win something in a season..   this season, the bar of expectations have to moved to that extent.

i rarely hope for misfortune to befall others, but hope it happens to that scumbag called Ramos. May all the teams he plays for, suffering indignity and losses all the time. Best if he gets injured till have to retire now...

newbies here .. am a red fans as well .....

I say we will give Man City a good run for their money ....

[cool]  [cool]

welcome

as things stand now at the very start of the season, Pool looks like the only real contender against City.

Utd - a sulky manager... not happy with players and owners. You really wonder how long he can keep his anger in check (and to stay in the job)

Spurs - record-breaking transfer window.. no player bought. What were they thinking?

Chelsea - new manager and a few stars' heads being turned.  The community shield loss proved that it should take a few months before Sarri's methods bear fruits.. big question whether he even has the players to play his style.

Arsenal - big transition with the new coach. feels like pool in the 2000's.

However, being the real contender doesnt means City wont gallop away with title given any invitation.  It is hard to see which teams can beat City on a given day.. they look so good in their current system.
