No point in blaming them for slipping up then.

Similarly if man City haven't lost that two games before then, they would be comfortably still in lead from start to finish.

Did we overperform then things didn't go well for a time. Then started winning again? Yes.

 

Do note that this man City winning streak is the 2nd longest in epl history.

The first longest is from last season at 17-18 games in a row. I believe this one is at 15-16 games already.

Yes, I understand how most fans feel about blowing away that 7 points, but I hope the fans would also remember that there are many matches that we won by some sheer luck or last ditch effort which could have end up drawn or lost.

 

So in the end, things just even up.

 

Even if we don't win, it has been a wonderful ride till the end and no fans of other club would ever look at Pool the same way again. Man City may win, but truly it is the oil money that won.

Yup. Agreed. I think it's a magnificent effort.

I will always remember this year even if lfc doesn't win anything.

 

I can't say the same about the years when Rodgers, benitez went close. Cos I felt that ultimately we didn't deserve to be champions then.

What's the point talking about what happened few months ago. We still stand a chance till final whistle is blown. In sport, there can only be one champion, Liverpool already performed beyond expectation, everyone expect us to keep close with manc and go into CL QF when the season begin. Where are we now? SF in CL and a last game with a title shot, who expecting that? Absolutely no one expect we came to this stage. Come on guys, the lads are putting their best performance week in week out and we only start to talk shit when results aren't the most desired? Think about it, we are just sitting comfortably on sofa and they are puffing out their heart to get the results we want! Give them the credit they deserved! No matter what happens this season... They had proved to the whole world, this Liverpool squad is marching forward to become a dominating team for years to come.

Subs: Mignolet, Wijnaldum, Lovren, Gomez, Sturridge, Brewster, Woodburn.

 

So many injured that 2 kids hv to b named on the bench. The season is really taking its toll.
