Gavin0202 Neutral Newbie January 15, 2020 Share January 15, 2020 Hi I have brake servo failure for months and same as all it comes and goes. So have went to have a check at Servo Autowerkz. As usual they use OBD to detect the errors and found out that it is the vacuum pipe sensor. Cost below $250 including labour. :) hope it helps to all VW owners. Kriipso Neutral Newbie April 20, 2021 Share April 20, 2021 I have a passat b7 1.4 twincharger and I have the exact same problem. Engine light comes on, brake servo failure. It comes on and off. When it says brake servo failure, the engine does not work properly and gearbox doesn't change properly. When the problem dissappears, everything works fine. I have changed the vacuum pipe sensor, but the problem is still there. At the workshop they can't see any fault codes when the car works fine.
