WORX Hydroshot Portable Power Cleaner

Recommended Posts

I don't know which idiot stole it. Was on the other side of the car scrubbing rims. *Sigh*

Can you send the link? I couldn't find it. Tried Ezbuy, aliexpress, lazada but found none.

Thanks a bunch!

PMed you! Your lucky day

Anyone know is there any aftermarket soap/foam dispenser for Hydroshot.  The standard soap dispenser is kind of small.

See this video:

Can buy similar from Aliexpress

Just ensure it's a 1/4" fitting.

I don't think the housing can fit properly. Can anyone verify?

have a look at the video from about 3 min 15s. The Hydroshot has a plastic coupling (which we usually use to assemble/disassemble by twisting) but also has a metal coupling at the end of the lance. That one you pull back to remove the round nozzle. That's compatible with the 1/4" quick release metal coupling found on the aftermarket foam cannon.

Just wondering if I can purchase an "Orange" 2AH now then buy a 4AH battery and plug in the "Orange"?

Also anyone know where I can get a spare 2/2.5AH?

Also is $190+ normal for "Orange"?

Thanks in advance!

Batteries, prob can look around Carousell. Or if you want to chance it, Tabao or Aliexpress.

Around $190 seems to be the price for the orange set now.

Just received my foam cannon from aliexpress.

verified can fit securely. Waiting for weekend to try it out! I suspect it will be the same as the stock one, just larger capacity. But got option to adjust flow rate so we'll see!

was talking to a carousell seller, was told that the 2ah Orange has a charging time of 4hrs,

while the 4ah has a charging time of 2hrs despite a bigger battery capacity...

Any gurus can verify?

My review on the orange:

Product looks and feels like quality stuff.

Many online reviews said it does what it was designed to do, and don't expect it to perform like a jet washer. I agree.

Tried to clean my shower at high power setting and 15 degrees nozzle and it was only able to remove some of the soap and water stains. It fared a wee bit better at 0 degree setting, but that would take forever, and even then it couldn't wash off everything. So for washing I am not impressed with its performance. Disappointed actually.

And it is loud. Especially when used indoors.

On the other hand, I really appreciate it when washing my motorcycle. I do not have access to a tap, so this is really handy for rinsing off after the wash. Also makes it very easy to reach areas that are difficult to reach by hand.

Overall I think the Hydroshot is better suited for rinsing rather than washing. Works fine for light dirt like dust, but doesn't work well for deep seated dirt like mud and water stains.

I like it for its portability. Saves water too. But if you have access to a tap and hose, I would say spend the money on something else.

Can't say how long the battery will last cos I don't use it continuously. But it's enough to get the job done. I run out of water (one big red pail) before I run out of power.

This is a hack I made for the pet bottle attachment.

Only need nozzle from washing machine tap, hose, pet bottle.

Only thing to note is that you need to make a small hole as high as possible at the neck of the bottle, otherwise as it draws water it will flatten the bottle.

I see. I bought my Worx bag from TaoBao and only cost less than $10.

It is a bit smaller to put the extension for my Worx Orange hydroshot but good enough to put all the accessories inside.
