WORX Hydroshot Portable Power Cleaner

Recommended Posts

No need power socket outlet. Buy a suitable inverter and connect to your car battery. Connect the pressure washer to the inverter. Ta da.

Trying to keep the inverter dry while washing the car is the tricky part. The invert needs to "breathe" as it dissipates heat so cannot cover it up. Wire too long, voltage drop. Just a few considerations. But its doable.

I brought one (green colour one) 3 week before CNY after my old one (Hydrojet - yellow container type) die after 3 years uses and it's value for money worth.

Please note that for the 'orange' one, the battery is only 2 amp and can last for only 15 minutes of continuous washing.

The 'Green' one is 4 amp and can last for 30 minutes.

I used it to wash my corridor before CNY and water pressure remove the dirt & double sided tapes of old CNY decos on the wall superbly but have to take an hour break due to battery weak after 30 minutes .....   :secret-laugh:

Will be going back to the company to buy another spare battery. [sly]

Worth investment to wash your car as I reused the old 32L 'yellow' container. In all, I spend only 40c to wash my whole car (MPV) where the old one cost 60c...  :a-m1212:

bro, can check where u got your yellow container from? am looking for a big container to hold water to wash so no need to keep refilling

My old workhorse Hydrojet lasted for three years and motor broke down just 3 week before CNY.

Saw the advertisement on Worx (supply from same company as my last hydrojet) and more powerful with 320 psi / 22 bar against Hydrojet 185 psi / 18 bar. So I ordered one.

I retained the yellow container for use with my new Worx Hydroshot.

Guys,

What is your recommendation if anyone want to get the Worx Hydroshot? Green or Orange version?

Tbh... I don't find any difference... the orange one offered more choices in battery capacity selection and slightly lower in overall cost while the green one is limited to 2.0 & 4.0 battery selection.

I'm actually thinking of doing this now too. Using my yellow machine to carry the water and then use the Worx or other.

Yes, I decided to go for the Worx as XiaoMi is quite new and not sure how powerful compared to the Worx.

XiaoMi Jimmy is like a copy version of Worx as most of its products are also copy from other brands so decided to go for the original like Worx.  [:p]

Pressure power on worx is strong only when you set the spray angle at 0/15deg and good for wheel cleaning and dirt. 25deg is ok to wash off soap and light dirt. 40deg only suitable for the initial wetting of your car.
