I read somewhere that Skoda Superb is a rebadged Passat w/o the price tag. But currently the price gap between the 2 is just a few thousand based on SGCarMart figures. So if I am to look at Superb, I would also consider Passat.

Now I think there is nothing wrong with dry clutch, but I saw a video that explains  how one has to change the driving habits when driving one. Since I'm set in my own ways (20 yrs of driving, hard to change), I decided to stick to wet clutch instead.

You can go to this link below to select the optional accessories. But it's not 100% accurate as some of the optional stuff listed are already included in the base model. Need to double-check with your SE on their availability.

Yeah you are right, they are based on the same MQB platform with Skoda selling a couple of thousand below the Passat.

The reason why I shortlisted the Superb is the new facelift model which is not launched yet is a 2.0L using a wet clutch instead unlike the current outgoing Passat which is a 1.8L using a dry clutch. 

The boot of the Superb is huge and practical which is why I have shortlisted this new model which Skoda is accepting orders before the official launch at at very good price too.

Superb has longer wheelbase basically LWB version of passat with hatchback boot

I am driving one now, no regret but the facelift model is detuned to 190bhp from 220bhp. 
 

but its compensated with better exterior look and virtual cockpit

Oh didn't know that you're looking at the new Superb. Just curious, what is the pricing like?

190 bhp is sufficient for more people.

190bhp will be more fuel efficient. Heard it will be similar to 1.4L consumption.

 

currently my car fc ard 10-11km/l on 50/50highway.

Ah din know the reduction of HP, yours is the 2.0l or the 1.8l version I know there 2 different engine CC previously.

 

The fuel economy seems reasonable

Mine is the 2.0L Ambition plus version, bought it in first few months after launch in sg. 

They brought in the 1.8L last year which is 7 speed dry dsg. So far in superb group chat no issue yet. 
 

s60 definitely has better look, maybe interior built quality also better but again price diff about 20k, depend on what u want. For me i want space power and boot at cheap price thats why i chose superb. That time s60 would cost ard 160-170k brand new. Big diff

Ya went up by $5k already, lucky i fast hands fast finger, lock in first decide later. Told me SE about it and she tell me need your details for the referral program, will PM you later on if I proceed.
