2nd Hand Altis, Jazz or Kia Forte

If you want sedan size, I will vote for Altis.

Forget about Forte, that car is heavy, underpower, and higher FC. Reliability wise, Forte also lose out.

I owned a Forte before and after 100k km, parts start failing ie. fuel guage, ABS pump and sensors, steering bushing. And these are on top of the usual wear and tear like absorbers etc. For me, I won't touch another Korean make.

Was actually looking for a getz or picanto...but now that u mentioned Korean cmi, maybe I should think thrice

Few of colleagues drive Kia Forte and Hyundai Avante, from new car until now around 8 to 9 years, from their feedback, the cars quite realiable, anyway they not those fast and furious drivers;

Jazz I personally drive for few years, the CVT Gearbox gave me some problem. FC is good, maintenance is cheap.

If car never really maintain and still never break down,then that's a real work horse.lol....

Altis definitely. Parts are easy to find and maintenance is not an issue. Although the other 2 models can be reliable, the fuel consumption still cannot win Altis...

But to be to honest, the new Altis exterior improved alot but the interior cmi.

 

That's true. The dashboard design still looks dated and cmi. Other than that, it is quite a good car. It is spacious, quiet, good FC, and easy to maintain.

Ya lo, the previous gen altis interior and exterior become not bad, but comes to the current altis, they design such an outdated dashboard?! Have to wait for the brand new altis about 2 more years later.

Don't just read and believe blindly on what others say. Go experience it yourself, seriously. My family has an Altis we are constantly getting 15-16 km/L with 80% highway mode. I can't think of any 1.6L sedan with this FC, quietness, and space.

Cause my friend send his car Honda wave for servicing. He keep saying wave or jazz cannot renew coe, no good. Only toyota cars r good.

Then I ask him how abt the new mazda3? He said it's a drinker.

 

How u expect me to trust him?

Toyota sucks in 2 areas.

 

The steerIng wheel design and the seats.

 

Seats do not offer any proper support and steering wheel design, see also get turn off, let alone holding it.
