Batang soup I eat outside, at can never have the good soup base like outside.

It is the soup base, which is mainly the bones and some even add veggies.

The really fresh batang seldom get to the local fishmonger from what I feel.

I believe they deep fry the fish skeletons in the early morning then boil it down for several hours. At least thats how its supposed to be done.

The batang we get from even wet market are hardly fresh (already deep chilled or even frozen), so the texture and taste is as good as the one we had in the old days (where many are fresh from sea).

And the soup base does make a big difference in taste.

To cook banana in soup, the meat must be sliced to certain thickness, then it would taste good.

yup that will work. I couldn't figure out how they get that taste until i watched that episode.

Think it's a Tuesday report on amoy street hawker center.

i generally don't like to fry anything in my house. Cos no maid to clean up  [laugh]

I love to bring the furry friend home. Really cute and loveable. Only if all human beings can be like that, we will all be very happy

Thanks for sharing.

I realised you are perhaps one or two active rose among the sea of crocodiles (some pretend but are really alligators) here. A few of them had been turned to crocodile skin bag for Rosmah.

Just be very careful when you meet up and be on the look on for those who come walking without legs or footprints (Radx - NO 1 suspect), then you also better be very very careful of our very own Mr Prince Charming, he can sweet talk Najib kor until he drop pants (Mr Tianmo), if you want to have a free pass to Zouk or any happening thing in Singapore your only chance is through Staff69 (I tried but always insist I dress up and look like S Y (cannot write the name in full)), etc.

I tried to bring her home since she let me cuddle but.... sigh.

Tianmo kor kor already told me he love me liao. It was all a lie?!?!?!
