No one wants to see a failed PAP.

But a strong opposition is good for the country and keeps the incumbent on its toe.

Right now, it's slacking with little pressure for it to improve.

Whilst the highlighted is undoubtedly true, except for maybe LKY, to dispense with something you have to have something at least equally good to replace it.

I see nothing from the WP that comes anywhere near what the current G is doing even though I'm not a big fan of the current G.

For me it's not good enough to say, 'so and so has been in power long enough, let's give an alternative a try.

The alternative has to show it is up to the task and I repeat nothing I've seen from alternatives  show they are up to the task.

Sigh..how to demo their capabilities when even the most harmless of their comments have been deemed insulting in parliament and the person who articulated these comments have been coerced/humiliated by some leader of the house to apologise? How to.... [sweatdrop]

Can we stop recycling the same excuse again and again? No opportunity to showcase their talent.... No chance to demo their capabilities.... This is exactly why they instill no confidence when we keep playing the victim card.

They can simply demonstrate their capabilities through the constituencies they NOW represent. If they can't even get their house in order on a smaller area, do we really want them to be handling something much larger like national policies?

As a statesman. Or as a politician. What are the traits needed?

A honest person with integrity believing in goodness becoming a master politician.

It must have been painful.

Once we have tried the best Hakka Yong Tau foo. There is no going back.

Singaporeans know their food and their cars.

Why is the coRolla the best selling car in the world to date?

All the car sales people can try and try. What is the bottom line?

New competitor is made or break by their product.

Their back-end service as someone kindly mention MND.

Nyuck Nyuck Nyuck.

Have a good night.

The PAP can stay for as long as i care.

They just have to also improve for as long as there is a country called Singapore.

Dont ignore the calls that people make and dont say yes to stupid things to win votes.

Most People are neither blind nor stupid, and they will see, hear, know, understand.

(Well most people,that is)

there is no perfect person or government, therefore change is necessary. 1 lerson should never be allowed to hold office or control for more than 2 terms. if possible, the reppacement must not be in the same fsmily line.

jf you want to serve, you need to declare your asset. all new assets will have to be justifiable. dont our tax man has all our info too?

if holding office is so important and therefore paid so much, then one should do this full time and not be involve in other biz.

can the pap get their house in order given the resources so called veto to them by 70%? a simple example the continuous frying of prate.

back to the WP. The constituencies that continuous to vote them in for past few elections aren't dump. There must be reason why. We won't know. we can only look at the national level whey they are being bullied and shoved.

Who like to play victim if there are being given with the same power and resources.

Do you believe that we should have a level playing ground?

If yes, do we have a level playing ground?
