Good meh? He is on 170kpw reportedly! The next gen of German young ones like flatter to deceive. Apart from Sane(this boy is damn farking good), the rest yet to show they can hack it. Even Draxler ain't exactly lighting up the world.

Meyer used to be one of the up and coming young players. granted he may not be living up to the high expectations, but i think Palace still going to get a good player to complement their current players like Zaha et al... maybe a top 8 in EPL?

Yup, could be a replacement for Zaha

Chelsea seems desperate for players.. Zaha is hardly the quality winger they need. He is fast, exotic and largely unpredictable. However, the main issue is consistency. He blows hot and cold. This seems a bit better last season but still, I am not sure whether he has the right quality for a top 4 club.

Chelsea's main success for this window is retain the GK and Hazard. They bought Jorginho which is a pretty good buy as Sarri will set up the team as 4-3-3.  That also explains why he is thinking of wingers.  How Hazard will fit into this system is a good question as he is often given a free role centrally.  In a 4-3-3, this fluid position of Hazard is harder to come by unless Sarri plays him as the false 9. If he is the no.8 or 10, then the middle of the park will be slightly more exposed given Hazard's usual lack of tactical discipline.

i believe there is a reason why Zaha never made it in the Man Utd squad...

Exactly. has he really now began to show his true potential.. yes and no bah... he is probably good enough for a mid-table team but doubts surround whether he can be a 1st team player for a top club.  super fast and can take on full backs. but generally lacks any real quality with the final ball.

looking at his performances last season, i think he has improved from his Man Utd days. agree with you that his consistency is still lacking for being a 1st team player for a top 6 team.

Me too. Willian is a proven player at this level. no wonder the likes of real is also interested.

Willian and Zaha playing styles are very different. Willian uses tactical positioning while Zaha uses pure pace. It depends how Sarri sets up the team... i think his system will prefer at least 1 of the wingers to be pacy. at the moment, Chelsea has hazard, pedro, moses and William. none of them are pacy wingers except for Moses..  however, moses only became prominent as a wing-back and less of a winger in recent times.

yea i totally agree too. when in RM didnt play much cause sharing the spot with Benzema but still did well. then when Napoli set new records

except maybe last season he pui pui abit bcome slower

you see world cup hor, abit disappointing cause missed good chances

also maybe to get more fans from Japan/Asia but i guess he played not bad in WC too?

hes a huge talent. Schalke built the team around him start of last season but midway through he dont want renew contract so they kept him out of the team thats why never hear much about him

There is some reports that United will offer Martial for Willian in a straight swap. Not sure if Chelsea will bite n I’m on the fence on who will get the better deal.

Martial is young n has good potential to step up n be an outstanding player but he can be inconsistent.

Willian is proven n works hard but age is against him.

Zaha valued at 70m by palace. LOL!!

Palace put this price to scare off potential buyers n they are in the driver’s seat as he only last season signed an improved contract. Of course player power can force this issue but Zaha so far not showing signs of this n with only 3 days to go before the EPL window closes, i doubt he will move.
