Came back from holiday. Probably 16 days never go gym. And stopped creatine for about two plus weeks. Lol feel much weaker than usual.

Weight about the same.

Left knee arthritis acting up a bit after the trip though. Need to do more backward walking. Been lazy last few months.

Standing desks may not be healthier than sitting at work. I used Co-pilot and it found two studies on the subject.

I don't think my brain functions well when I'm standing. It's more like automatic thinking or problem solving.

I do all my deeper thinking lying in my bed or at most sitted in work chair.

Wahh , like that he cannot go any country with squat toilet [laugh]

Any joint pain also like that. Must continue to push and stretch it daily, otherwise it gets frozen into immobility.

Sometimes the knee can be really affected in cold climate. My knees really ached when I went Sth Korea in Dec 2022, both knees were already having some issues during October... Then gotten slightly better in Nov. Worsen during the trip... Also due to quite a fair bit of walking...

My aches seem better after back in SG.

So after that ....if I am going on trip to cold places, I will make sure don't overtrain or over strain my knees 😅 beforehand.

Maybe paste heat pack over knee whenever outdoor

I was wearing knee guards then... so didn't thought of placing heat pack.

It was also probably due to the knee guard that cause some swelling to both knees...

Its cos of the stairs in Japan subways. Going up kiyomizudera, the monkey park in arashimaya, and the more ulu side hall of the Todaiji complex.

All hillside activities.

Yes, many subways no escalator or lift... Need to walk up and down😅

This is a place I won't challenge myself even if I am there. Also depends on who are with us in the trip. If young kids and spouse then not many locations can go...

My lung capacity is restricted, <70% expected for my size.

So I tend to go anaerobic very quickly on these type of exertions. Haha if I didnt have this issue, I would definitely like to hike more overseas as exercise.

But steps although efficient are very bad for the knees.

You mean you don’t carry the love of your life?

Straits time challenge….photo capture of piggyback carries.

warmed my heart when I saw this in Shinsegae…don’t see this much around anymore.
