Hi, any cerato owner can advice on their FC? My FC is pretty bad after the 1k servicing. I got 12+km/L before the 1k servicing. After the servicing I got only 10km/L. Is that normal? Iâm driving on comfort mode and 50-50 on expressway. Thanks in advance

I drive a SX, heavy footed, and my FC goes from 15km/l on Malaysian expressway (110 km/h average), down to 8 km/l in SG jams (15 km/h average).

Maybe factory engine oil from kia is better?

That's why after you drain out and change to local whatever oil becomes worst in FC?

Probably due to the thick '40' Shell Helix Ultra oil used.

New cars shd use '30' engine oil for better fuel efficiency.

I think PPS is mainly to protect the paint. Canât tell the difference in terms of the shine for a new car

Did they advise how long will it last and how many coating they apply?

I see. Thanks for the info. Any other cerato owner encounter same issue as mine. Iâm going back to service center to highlight this to them. On paper is 15km/L. 10Km/L is unacceptable

It's been 2 weeks since I collected my ride, the best FC I have seen is only 12km/l on eco drive mode. On comfortable mode, its 10-11km/l.

Never see 13km/l and above before.

The increasing number of Kia Cerato “taxis”  on the road will devalue the car, as buyers do not want their cars to be associated with Private Hire.

And can the existing C&C service centres cope?

If the number of fleet Cerato and Stonic exceed 1k units, it will definitely hurt the resale value. Occasional PH cerato or stonic is OK coz that particular owner may be doing grab or go jek. When it's numbered thousands like the LCR mazda 3, then it's a different case alr.

At least I doubt C&C will strip out the Kia models to bare bones which was what LCR did with their Mz3.

Anyone facing the same issue? c

Car power down automatically after about 40 min of radio listening while car is stationary with engine off?

As in the power supply cut itself automatically.

Bro, that protect the battery and prevent you from complaining about how short is the battery life later on when the battery dies a premature death..

If you intend to do extended periods of radio listening, maybe you can consider putting a small pocket radio in your car?

Bro, i wouldnt do that if i were you. Wouldnt you be worried the battery would run flat from listening radio so long so your car wouldnt even start afterwards?

I see.. Thanks. So that's normal for this car? Coz my previous car did not have this feature.

My battery lasted quite long in my previous car so that didn't crossed my mind. Thanks for the reminder anyway!

Stock Cerato battery is only 45Ah.

That's a very small battery.

A car of this engine capacity should be using at least a 62Ah battery, or NS60 in size .

Space constraints or just cost cutting?
