Oh i thought now a days got even better P.P.S like titanium coating which come in 5 to 10 year warranty depend on how many layer of coat we put on. But not too sure how their warranty work.

Best coating last you beading effect for 4months at most. 8 months is like it was never there.

My glass coating lasted less than a year.. Didnt wanna waste anymore money on it..

 

Just wash once a week and the occasional waxing should suffice imo

You do one glass coating, or PPS (Paintworkwork Protection System), and send for car wash - practically washing your money down the drain. The coating will be stripped off.

Regardless where the engine from, the engine is on 10 years warranty, I wouldn't waste time worrying about it.

Hi Guys, Side track a  bit. Do any of you guys do paint protection?.

 

did those coating. still lasting the hydrophobic  effect after one year.of application. 

mainly i parked in door carpark, occasionally weekend to johor park under hot sun at lego land open carpark.

 

it make cleaning easy, and have not spend any of my time on waxing the car till now. 

Only normal washing at petrol kiosk or sometime myself.

But paint protection, or PPS, is not permanent, and lasts 12 mths on average.

 

If you are going to spend $500 annually on PPS, might as well give your car a new coat of paint after 5 yrs.

 

Costs less than PPS.

 

Can get replacement part from Stockist, Min Ghee Auto. But seriously, this defect is not visible and will not affect the performance of the car.

 

Just leave it as is and enjoy your car. Don't be too overly bothered with dings and scratches..it's going to car heaven after 10 short years.

I brought mine in March, the waiting really too long. They told me if by June they can’t deliver I can forgo the deal, and return me my COE

My interest rate is 2.28 for 50k loan.

 

I didn’t have a car to trade in but my SE still gave me the 5k trade in discount.
