Anyway, aren't we like taxi/Uber/Grab driver for family & extended family? Except cannot collect faressss

Question:

Can k3 infosys set to monitor FC by sum of many trips?

It means after top up petrol, set odometer to 0. Then at 1,000 km, check the fc.

Of course, I may sounds Alien. I'm 5 years behind car technology.

Only comes out when need to change car.

That's why k3 EX gave me alot of wows.

There are two modes for the fuel consumption...

1) The instantaneous fuel consumption. This figure you see on the page of the trip computer where you have the number of km left to top up petrol. It changes as you drive. It is cumulative. But you can set it to reset after you top up petrol. It will reset to _ _._ when you start your engine after you topped up.

2) The one trip fuel consumption. This is the trip summary that pops up on the trip computer after you switch off your engine. It only calculates for a single trip if the time between the first trip and the second trip exceeds some preset time - like 4 hours or more. Otherwise it will also just be the cumulative fuel consumption for the number of trips you make for that day. It resets the next day cos you leave the engine off for quite a few hours overnight...

My take:

It's $388 package.

Battery, no maintenance kind, about $130-$150 per piece Including labour. Battery last 1.5 - 2 years.

Brake pad, $80-$100. 5 years 1 change assuming 20,000 km a year.

Polishing...i saw in junction 8 they are charging $48.

Air cond filter, honda charge me $70 but I think can get at $20.

Air chemical wash. Last I did on 6th year was $300 plus in KM.

Package covers 2 units for every items above. Time duration is 5 years.

Letter says all labour included. Worth $1,800.

I think is a good deal.

i received this also. think will take up also

Test drive video from Australia

Their Cerato are all 2L...and even then, according to that Aussie chick, it is still weak and it makes a hell lot of noise. All noise and not much actions wor.

Alot of flak against Kia for continuing to offer outdated engines in today's car scenes.

Our 1.6 will be alot worse obviously.

Their version of SX is abit diff from ours. They don't have LED headlights, and the tailights are not full LED light up like ours. But 6 airbags and traction control standard across the range. Their SX has blind spot monitoring and lane departure warning which we doesn't.

I cant understand why CnC took out the Electronic Stability Control (ESC) for lower trim and only available on the highest trim.

This is a safety features which they not suppose to use it as a marketing tool to make people buy the highest trim.

After I look the pricing strategy and the features for each trim I felt annoyed.

The lowest trim was like a empty car.

They have to maximise profits n minimise expenses. That's how they can survive in the car industry

Their comment is so funny, their new cerato is 2L and yet still weak and it makes a hell of noise.  [laugh]

Hmmm.... I find it amazing that no one seems to know that 6 airbags can only be had in the SX trim level only.

EX and Grab car L model still uses 2!... Come on, dual front in 2018?

Only in SG where safety features are often deleted to keep the OMV low and the dealers profit high. We have the most expensive cars to own in the world yet our spec sheets can sometimes be worse than what u find in 3rd world countries.

And becos of the 6 airbags, ESC and LED headlights and full dual zone climate control and front vented seats, going for the SX is a no brainier. These items are essential and cannot be retrofitted by owner after delivery

For me safety features for a car cannot be compromise at all, ESC already mandatory in Europe since 2011...... this is not about how careful we drive the car but sometime road condition like water and oil are beyond our control.

It has always been 2.0 L overseas... that's the base model... some markets get the 1.6 L turbo and that is the Eco version... to get the more powerful versions you need to the Sport version but that's available only in US I think...

Neutral Newbie

Would like to check with those who collected their Cerato. For the camera, did they connect to the battery for parking mode? Or it just turn off after parking your car? Thanks in advance!
