i belong to the old generation  for me, i do need my private space if i need to sit in the office the whole day. if you are an outdoor sale staff, then coming back for a short briefing, open concept is ok.

interaction cannot occur between tables and just among the same close colleagues  you need break out areas like common oantry, stsff rest area, canteen, etc.

everythine i walk into an open concept office, i dont see smiling faces.

Our ceo actually said they were looking to have employees work one day a week from home so as to save desk space, but regional coo hinted to the floor this is not something he thinks is "good"

Hence all the boot licking underlings immediately enforced it.

Most times we come early and take what seems like a "empty flexi desk" only to find its been chope by someone when the person comes in then a argument ensues. I might just email the ceo one day to stir up some sh*t lol

Might as well work from home.

Depends.  I used it in Singapore and China.

If my boss call me office phone and no answer, they will just text me.

Nowadays, everything is going online.

I am staying just beside an MRT station so the background can be quite noisy for some recording work.

Does anyone know of a quiet small place which I can book on a adhoc (afew hourly) basis so that I can do some recording work on certain days, for example for:

1. classical guitar.

2. Some video tutorials and teaching stuff.

Thanks.

Are there such spaces for rental in CC or libraries? No need sophisticated equipment as I could bring my own simple ones.

Ideally, the ones nearer to Jurong East/ Bukit Batok area would be ideal.
