The bus frequency is estimated 17min according to the website my wife gave. And the time I start waiting is usually just after one has passed. So it's literally waiting for close to 3 gaps. 

Skip one frequency. More people also mah.

Yes, this is another reason i hate to take bus. Cause if the bus don't come on time, next bus would be sardine packed. Esp if the bus is single decker. Also likely cannot get onto the bus, then have to wait for another bus for ages again and don't know if can get onto the bus or not.

Mytransport is accurate. it is the same as those displays at some busstops.

I don't remember i see the bus frequency on Mytransport or those displays at bus-stop. It happened before the timing appeared never moved and stop at certain timing very long. Example Mytransport show next bus arriving in 10 mins, but the 10 mins never moved even though 5 mins already passed. Then after some time then it moved to 8 mins etc. In the end waited more than 10 mins for the bus but the timing on the app show 10 mins. Lol.

CB. Old lines down, not so old lines also, relatively new lines also can be down. Then what’s the diff between new and old? Come I clap. Better renew my chao kelisa. Use cable tie to engine also won’t drop. Only scared one day petrol kiosk don’t want to sell petrol. 🙂

You just got a bit of the experience of what they have been encouraging of carlite or owner-lite kind of crap. This is probably what many gone through daily, without a choice. Crawling speeds, missed intervals or a few come at one go kind of situations. Our policymakers are saying zero growth sitting comfortably in their own driver’s seat, while commoners slog their day out on these buses. 🙂

Aiyah i take this bus few times a week now. So what to do. Anyway sg public transport is not that bad also. 

So far it's a one off. Maybe not enough driver or the driver can't leave the station in time. 

My cousin is a bus driver. Haven't seen him for several years. He's always working OT on CNY.

SG public transport not say very bad or very good, many times also must depend on your location.

This is why many people must pay very high premium for their housing just to stay near a MRT station that is within walking distance. If not need to take bus, then have to waste lots of time taking bus just to get to a MRT station.

Notice people are getting use and accepting that the train can breakdown which is true. More importantly, the frequency and the nature of such breakdowns. Poor maintenance due to skill set problems and fair wear and tear are totally different situations. I want to believe the former is the key issue today. Everything is contracted and numbers is not the key. In most public works, you see a big group with a handful actually carrying out works but also not so skilled workers. 😭

In my opinion...... that would still be related.

Not related means signalling fault, track crack, motor burns out, power outage, etc. If you say something like only "Alstrom", or "SP Power", for example then everything is related to that one. Maybe not explained so well, but I know what I mean 🤭
