LoL...why do they like to use statistics to show train reliability has improved? They should know by now commuters only remember the breakdowns because whenever there is one it gives them great inconvenience, the reliability part is expected of them.

They love to use statistics and data to prove that their train reliability has improved or there is nothing wrong with their train standard lo. Same like whenever you feedback to them that their train service is long or no good, usually they would reply you using all sort of data to tell you there is no problem on their train operation. But how they got all those data and if those data is true or not, no one can verify?!  [rolleyes]

They will never get it. If the stats are done by a 3rd party who is not affiliated with any of our govt companies then may be ppl will believe in it. Otherwise it's ownself present stats ownself song.

And everytime when they presented such stats themselves, the next day or next few days there will be breakdown/delay on train service.

Turbocharged

I drive 3 times a week and commute by train 2 times a week.

I can safely say that NS line is improving while EW line is still seeing some occasional problems.

Last time back in 2017 used to be the other way round...NS line sucks and EW line rocks and sibeh steady. Now is the other way round...not sure why.... [grin]

What's new? Some things will never change. It's the "deep seated cultural issues", remember? It sucks when commuters are the ones who have to pay for incompetence.
