I think AIG premium is reasonable depending what one wants to cover. Made some comparisons before and still with them.

Thought TS had paid for insurance ........ if have insurance coverage for car shouldn't car already registered in TS name? :confident:

Probably coverage will start on a later date.

That's just Singaporean image of Lexus.

That's just shallow people's knowledge of Lexus in general, not just Singaporeans.

Just like some who'd say Audi is just a higher end VW.

I just ignore since it's just their opinion.

I hope MCF can also block out the quoted replies of people we ignore. There's a reason why we don't want to see ignored posts but they will remain visible when others quote it.

Supersonic

there are many PI dealers selling Merc...

But they don't carry all models.

If want to buy cars like S class, AMG GT, Maybach, SL class, CLS class, etc, still have to go through C&C.

Supersonic

Lexus is still considered a higher end Toyota at the end of the day

That was 20 years ago mindset.

I should just take public transport. ugh lol.

hope after you have eventually gotten a car..you won't start a new thread on giving way..fighting of parking lot..sudden lane change..

you are too kind hearted for our road. Probably public transport much suitable for your case. That is a complement. just my opinion

Is Cycle & Carriage and Cycle & Carriage Fulco technically the same company? Or is Fulco a subsidiary? Or is it just a secondary dealer? It seems that Fulco is run separately from Cycle & Carriage? Just asking cos I don't know if they are one and the same... throughout the thread, it seems like some people take them as one entity, some treat them as separate entities... maybe we should have some clarity here before we comment further on Cycle & Carriage...

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

For comparison's sake... let's look at Hyundai...

For Hyundai, I think Komoco is the main distributor. But there are other authorised dealers who simply seem to be sellers only since the cars are all warrantied and serviced by Komoco... there was Orchard Credit and I had a rather poor experience with them... not sure if they are still around and still sell Hyundai cars... they were in Bukit Timah a decade back... then I think there's Hyundai RTMT Motors & SK Automobile Pte Ltd & Ricardo Cars Pte Ltd which are all listed here...

http://hyundaimotors.com.sg/contact-us/authorised-agents

So I'm rather confused why Hyundai has so many sellers - Singapore so small...

Orchard Credit no more.My first Hyundai with them.Agree with you.Lousy service.

RTMT is good.Second Hyundai with them.

lol tbh after 15 years of driving, this is my first (or second?) thread. I won’t start a thread on small issues encountered on the road, don’t worry. :)

Well public transport is testing everybody’s patience, including mine. Haha.

23rd April liao!

Let's see if TS later check his account in One Motoring with a newly registered Carens in his assets.

Had been following this thread but did not comment. Although I had some bad experience with Fulco when I bought my Mitsubishi, its nothing compared to the ordeal that TS went thru. If it was me, I think I will go crazy everyday go Fulco bang table liao lol.

Sincerely hope TS can get his car real soon.
