Jamesc Hypersonic November 19, 2024 Share November 19, 2024 So now we know scissors curry rice is a super food. I will eat more along with butter and bacon. Is bacon fat healthier than margarine? Is bacon grease bad for you? Bacon fat is higher in monounsaturated fat (the good fat) than butter. Unlike margarine, bacon grease does NOT contain trans fat (aka “bad fat”). ↡ Advertisement

You should just replace 1st or at most do another follow up check in 1 month or so. You will feel less energy, mental slowing, weight gain, cold intolerance, constipation etc etc. The longer the hypothyroidism persist, the more you will feel it. I'm not sure why need to wait few months. It's highly unlikely to reverse. Edited November 19, 2024 by Lala81

Lots of people are eating it. Won't make you return COE faster. Your body is a self regulating mechanism. To be clearly hypothyroid at your age means your thyroid already no more capacity to produce anymore. Like i said, almost certainly it's not going to recover. I just checked my TSH test results taken over the last 2 years been reducing from peak of 3.55 -> 4.42 -> 3.49 -> 2.81 just 2 months. The doctor only advised me to control my diet and nothing much else. The most recent visit I was told my condition is now considered ok. Mine is very manageable with med. Am now on the lowest dosage possible for Carbimazoles, half tab a day. the thyroids number are in normal range from last lab test i September. Doc say want to monitor if the trend is stable for one year then can discuss if want to stop the meds completely.

Surgery is usually the last resort and situations where the patient may have potential thyroid cancer. ↡ Advertisement
